here is how their 4 losses went this year...
Loss #1: The Missouri game the refs missed a block in the back on Missouri's game winning TD with under a minute left (70 yard pass). Block happened literally 2 yards away from where the WR broke free and the refs didn't call it. They later admitted they missed the call.
Loss #2: The BYU game the replay booth botched a fumble call on BYU's game winning drive. BYU clearly fumbled but was allowed to keep the ball then scored the game winning TD a few plays later. Again the MWC admitted they missed the call. It then came out that everyone working in the replay booth was a BYU alum. They were then suspended
Loss #3: The Utah game they gave up a fluke Hail Mary before the half, and their punter drops a snap at the 1 yard line in the 4th quarter. 14 free and very lucky points for fluky points for Utah. Clearly the difference in the game
Loss #4: Jumped up 14-0 at TCU and battled until the end losing 40-35, no bad calls or anything there just a close loss and good battle.
To recap we've got 4 close losses. 2 of which were admitted to be heavily impacted by referee error, 1 of which decided by 2 very fluky plays, and the last by 5 points at the #3 team in the nation.
