I cannot find this one write up I had here is a little something I posted in Van's thread
. Honestly I don't see Notre Dame punting the football very much in
this game. I think the offense will be able to do whatever they want.
As for Notre Dame on defense. Well I guess expectations are that
Nevada is going to be able to move the ball up and down the field. I
find that hard to believe. I guess numbers and all would tell you
otherwise...but the defense is going to be greatly improved this
season, and is extremely quick. Tenuta will blitz Kapernick to death
forcing him into tough decisions. He will be spied about 90% of the
game, and I don't think they will allow him to beat him with his legs.
This could be a fun game to watch. I just don't think that Nevada has
the horses to compete in this one. Just an opinion for you. Nevada's
pass defense ranked last in college football last season. They could
be in for a long day. Look for all three of the big boys to get their
touches, Rudolph, Floyd and Tate should dominate this game....Look for
a special teams touchdown as well. I'm thinking right now that Notre
Dame puts up 49. The score could very well be something like 49-28.
Just my opinion. I've been wrong before but I've done a ton of
research and feel comfortable laying 14 with the Irish
