I hope you're right about Tennessee winning, but even as a 'Gator hater I recognize Louis Murphy as a serious playmaker.He makes me very nervous !

Last i check Florida lost 4 games last year and somehow managed to be the media's favorite to win the SEC. Even though there defense gave up 25 points a game on defense and got shredded in there secondary.

Florida lost 2 of the top 5 recievers. The only legit play maker on offense besides tebow is harvin and if you double him all game they have no one to go to.

goscots56 - read the post man. I am NOT as I NEVER do betting on the Gators. Nor am I attempting to pursuade anyone to bet on the Gators. All I am doing is trying to help people out people on this forum by convincing them to SAVE MONEY STAY AWAY FROM THE VOLS.

Urban Meyer and Dan Mullen lost the game in Death Valley last year due to poor play calling and clock management. (as I mentioned in the origional post).

In Jax Tebow's shoulder was injured. UF still had an opportunity to take the lead with less than 5 minutes. It was 4th and 2 from the 23 but once again Dan Mullen screws the Gators. He calls an end around to Bubba Caldwell that started from the Shotgun. It was a slow developing play that started seven yards behind the line of scrimmage. The Dawgs D was too fast and strong for that play and we lost two yard and turned the ball over.

Payback is a bitch and the Gators TVs in the weightroom have been playing a loop of the dawgs stomping on the endzone.

By the way to all dawg fans - How cme Marck Richt got so mad at his team last year for stomping on the star at Vandy and then the very next week tells his players to celebrate in the disrespectful fasion that they did in Jacksonville?

I sure do. 11:30 game with a two hour bus ride. It was an ambush. Teams from Mississippi and Alabama always play the Gators tough no matter what the record or stats.

Read up a few posts and you will see where I think Miss will cover +15 next week in Gainesville.

Its not delusion. UGA lost to Scar last year. This year UGA improved and they beat Scar. UF beat Tenn 59-20 last year. This year they improve and beat them .....?

Oh also, your right about Spurrier always playing tough against UGA. They are definitly his least favorite. Especially when Ray GOOF was the coach(ha ha). He was 11-1 as the coach at UF and at Scar refresh my memory was it, 14-7L, 16-12W, 15-17L, 20-16L, 18-0L, with much weaker squads. UGA has been lucky to escape the wrath of ole #11.

For real though, I love the huge plays from the biast gamblers with their avatars shown proudly. I don't think I'm betting this game simply from this thread.

JR - This post has moved completely off topic. I just personally don't see Tenn covering.

Although I think Tenn could have won the 59-20 game last year in Gainesville. It was an even game untill Foster fumbled to Doe and he ran it in for 6. The Vols sort of curled up and died after that play.

Watching Fulmers press conference this week it seems like Tenn will be prepared to play a tough game. My humble opinion is that UF will contain Foster and Crompton will struggle.

I'm just glad that on Saturday when I'm in Neyland Stadium the Volunteer fans will not have read these posts and if they do they will not know who I am. Tenn fans can be kind of nasty. (Nowhere near as nasty as the Cane fans 2 weeks ago)

So by your logic, since both UGA and UF improve, UGA should still with the game in jax but then you go and post this

This rivalry is a stay away. The Vols are throwed off and the Gators couldn't handle Miami. Which team shows for this contest? Beats the shit out of me. I'm walking.........no, RUNNING away from this one.

Florida has beaten Tennessee three straight years.

Urban Meyer coached teams are 23-4 when he has a week or more to prepare for an opponent.

Tennessee QB Jonathan Crompton didn't practice Monday or Tuesday because he was getting treatment for his injured ankle.

Tennessee has run for less than 100 yards the last three times they've played the Florida (Not less than 100 each time, less than 100 yards total in the last three meetings). Team that up with the fact that since 1990, only once has the team who has rushed for more yards one the Vols-Gator annual showdown and you have quite a statistic.

I'm not saying UGA's win was not legit against UF last year because Tebow was only at about 70%. You are right the d-fense was fast, intense, and agressive. I'm not saying if Tim was heatlthy the Gators would have won. I think the game in Jax will be a high powered matchup between two of the best teams in the country.I think Moreno is the best running back in college football and just like last year it will be more a matter of containing him than stopping him. But I do believe that the big pass plays that Stafford torched the UF secondary on will be tougher to come by this year with a more experienced secondary. All in all I don't know who will win the football game at the world's largest outdoor cocktail party. But it should be a great game so the fans will win. My point was that the excessive celebration (which was probably the most excessive I have ever seen) will give the Gators a little extra motivation. Just like the routine ass whippings the Gators gave UGA for the past decade and a half has motivated them. Mark Richt is a great coach who will have his team well prepared and everything else aside he sure knows how to beat up on the Gators from his FSU days. When I posted this thread I had no intention of going back and forth with Dawg fans over the FLA/GA game. My only intent was to inform people to SAVE YOUR MONEY. STAY AWAY FROM THE VOLS. But it has been fun and. Best of Luck to you and Go Dawgs until November 1st, I would like nothing better than both teams to colide undefeated, it would make for a great build up and great weekend.
