Since hiring Scott Frost in 2018, the Huskers are 5-21 in one score games. Worst in FBS over that span.
and it's not just because they are unlucky, they do everything to lose games.. It's so odd watching Frost teams is like the opposite of Sabans, I really thought with his personality and nature, also having played for Osborne.. I just expected his teams would at least be coached tight.

how many of those losses is Adrian “turnover machine” martinez singlehandedly for? Watching Nebraska football was like watching Groundhog Day with Bill Murray. You knew exactly what was going to happen in the fourth quarter every game. Martinez was going to give the ball and the game away.
Watching the Nebraska Northwestern game I could have swore that was Martinez in the last drive of the game with that interception to yet again give the game away. I guess in all fairness the Receiver should’ve caught that ball

yes the onside kick was a gaff, and potentially a momentum changer, but it did not lose Nebraska the game...So its an eccentric call, something Mike Leach may try this season...A death blow if you will...If it works, then everyone is saying that Frost is brilliant and is on the right track...A coach makes many decisions during the game, some work out and some don't. What cost them the game was the deer in the headlights look from Frost and his assistants, when NW was picking them apart in the 2nd half...they had no answers...

@LonghornHoosier
I wholeheartedly disagree with that onsides call. Given the situation where Neb had ALL THE MOMENTUM and just went up by 11pts at half way point of 3rd quarter, you kick the ball. Make NW earn points. Look at the percentages of making it vs. not. HUGE disparity. Especially with how PUTRID Neb special teams have been. You give your team the best shot to win by kicking it. That play ENTIRELY changed the game. This is coming from me an alum, fan for 40+yrs and HC is inept and needs to go

@TRAIN69
Agree. I don't see ANYTHING changing throughout season. Scott won't be HC at seasons end. Keep in mind his buyout drops from $15M to $7.5M come Oct 1

@LonghornHoosier
Even former players are calling out that onside play.
Ameer Abdullah - Vegas Raiders RB and Neb 2nd all time leading rusher (behind Mike Rozier who won heisman)
"Man I'm typically closed mouth on my opinions on coaching, but that’s just poor complimentary football, you have to play the field position there,"
I personally dont believe that was the single reason they lost game, but it certainly changed things.

It wasn't the single reason they lost the game, the main reason was because they were getting absolutely shredded by Northwestern from the last drive in the first half on to the end.
