So with what I said. I don't think a lot of these teams like Ole Miss and others cared or put their best foot forward to win these games. Not making excuses for the SEC teams or any of the other teams, but if your not playing in a playoff bowl game, who cares?
These are college kids, i'm sure they got drunk and partied half the time they were in these places. But I promise you if these had been playoff games for Ole Miss, LSU, Auburn, they would have played more inspired ball. These SEC teams that lost, weren't sharp and didn't look the same as they did all year. And i'm talking about in and out of conference. Maybe it's just me, but these teams just didn't seem like they had the fire to go all out like I saw in the regular season. As I said i'm not really a SEC guy, i'm a Miami Hurricanes fan. But I do respect the SEC as the best conference in the land.
This is like the first year in 8 years that a SEC isn't in the national championship game. And a SEC team won the title 7 years straight, that's unheard of. Just saying... And even this year a SEC team was in the final 4 for the playoff.
