always amazes me how line movement creates confusion. Even though there is no connection at all to a line movement & a winner.
more interesting is how a winning team is a pk vs a losing team. Its never that easy to win the bookie money. i dont think there is enough quality in either team to place a big bet, just IMO.

The line movement shouldnt matter to most but it always seems to in the end. I expected the line to move towards Rutgers on the day of the game becuase it is perceived that they are better based on their early season success (and its win over Pitt). Louisville's offense is perceived to struggle (and they have). Tough game where field position and turnovers should dictate the winner.
Pretty good assessment here. The line move in this case is essential in one way. These line moves dont really have any meaning on side play except to mess with peoples heads BUT here is where this line move comes into play and a lot of people dont really catch on to this but this is the reason: There is a lot of Rutgers teasers coming in and/or vegas believes there will be a lot of money on rutgers in a tease. Rather than leave it at Lou-1,1.5 or 2 that would be a huge edge for Rutgers teaser backers, however moving slighty to Rutgers as a favorite it makes the teaser less sexy. Also making people buy a teaser to 6.5 or even 7 and they are getting the juice. There is a lot of ways this move helps vegas but it doesnt neccessarily mean anything. It favors Rutgers in my opinion and I am on Rutgers.

its all about line movement. thats a fact especially for me. I bet almost all sports that I dont even watch and win big money just by watching line movements. i dont even know if the teams I'm betting is good or not but the winner is all on the lines. I always lose before by picking my own team then i changed my ways to just following the lines and it paid off big time

its enough!....vegas seems to be making louisville more and more tempting to play!,,,...jus asking for more $$$ on the cardinals please!....,dont fall for it, guys....rutgers is the play tonite!...besides, any of you see louisville play this year???...they are going to have to play WAY above their heads to even come close to beaing rutgers...not thst rutgers is a great football team, but better than louisville ...that is one thing i know for sure!!
