Should I Pay? Advice please....

Question

I started last week with a local book who uses a Web based site to take action. &#xA0;We agreed to settle when we reach plus/minus 3k. After the week ended on Sunday I was down a little over 2k. On Monday he notified me and told me he doesn&#x27;t want my action anymore. My question is should I pay him? He didn&#x27;t live up to the agreement of plus/minus 3k and worse he is now shutting me down without giving me an opportunity to win my money back.His reasoning for not wanting my action is because he thinks in the long run I will beat him because based on the bets I&#x27;ve made so far I&#x27;m getting all the lines that end up moving in my favor. Basically said I&#x27;m a sharp, which I&#x27;m not. Hell I&#x27;m losing. Also, I asked for one more week of play to have an opportunity to win my money back and then I would settle. Should I pay up?

Which games did you have where the line moved and you lost?

I would have to go back through and look. I doubt there is many? Louisville would be one. I had a pretty high volume of games played.

Changing the terms of an agreement without both parties approval would not and should not.be binding.
If i were you, I would demand that he live up to the terms
of the original agreement if he expects payment from you.

Putting a couple of bullet holes in his vehicle would help
reinforce your point

I wouldn&#x27;t pay, than again the bookies in my area are lunatics so I would have to go through a battle to prove a point lol... Clearly the dude you know is trying to snake you from you&#x27;re money and wants the loss you currently had. lways good to be good friends with your local bookies for some leeway. GL

I have known of many guys who won&#x27;t take the action of guys who are only playing line moves, that is not uncommon. I would tell him 2300 isnt 3K. If he wants to cut you off now he can take the loss and stick it in his rear end. A smart guy would have either let you tap out the 3K then cut you off or let you get back to near even before not taking your action if he didn&#x27;t want it. Doesn&#x27;t sound like a very smart or seasoned guy. If he needs your 2300 that badly in week one of the season that is another red flag anyways. I am never a proponent of stiffing anybody but this guy is not being honorable.

since he broke the agreement, no, you should NOT pay him.. and you should probably take this as a blessing, because judging from his actions, you never had a chance of ever seeing a dime from him had you won....

I thought further about my advice and I would change it. Keep betting if you can afford it and you know what you are doing but fuc this guy. Find someone else, like some one else said he won't pay you if he owes you money.

Maybe try and get him down to half the 2300, pay him and be done so you can come to an agreement and neither one of you is totally screwed and he doesn't come after you. Compromise is always a good thing.

I once paid a dude 6900 on Week 1 on NFL. Season before he paid me out 4400 & 1700 a so I thought he was legit. Turned out he kept the money I lost on bowl game and never paid bookie. Bookie cut him off...paid him 6900 in week 1 knowing I'd win it back. Won 4 team parlay for 1K in NFL in Week 2. Owed me 11000 dollars. Never paid me a cent. This was two years ago. Dumbest thing I've ever done. Just sayin...ohh and this kid will be killed eventually...when I find him...
