you really think they will let TCU get in over a 1 loss SEC team that had the 9th toughest schedule and went undefeated in the regular season, beating 2 top 10 teams and 5 top 25 teams? not to mention their one loss is from a game wisconsin, TCU, and Oregon dont have to bother with. u really think Oregon would want to face Stanford again at a neutral site? wisconsin would want to play Michigan St? a team they lost to? TCU would want to play......oh yea the MWC is a fucking joke...by the way, they have played one ranked team this season, UTAH. and do not try to argue this by using Wisconsin, i dont think they should play for the title either
look at the one loss teams IF Auburn loses the SEC championship this weekend. its already hard to compare them bc Auburn plays in a conference championship game, and these teams dont play a championship game
12-1 Auburn - undefeated regular season, 5-0 versus ranked teams. 2-0 vs current top 10 teams in the regular season
11-1 Stanford - a very solid team, but this will be eye opening for some of you. Stanford, after the Arizona loss last night, will have played ONLY ONE ranked team ALL season. Oregon. oh yea, it wasnt even a win. they lost by 21. Stanford hasnt beaten a single ranked team all season!
11-1 Wisconsin - very very hot team right now. they have been racking up serious points in the last 3 games, but against who? Michigan, NW(w/o Persa), and Indiana. some real powerhouses there and im still not sure whether or not Michigan sends players out on defense or not. they are 1-1 against ranked teams.
11-1 Ohio State - like Stanford, they havent beaten a single currently ranked team, and got beat by Wiscy, so Wiscy gets in before them, and Wiscys not getting in.
11-1 Michigan State - they have only played ONE currently ranked team all season, and that was a win vs. Wisconsin. they got absolutely handled by an enigmatic Iowa team that lost to Minnesota in the last game of the season, to finish with 5 losses.
11-1 Nevada - well, i dont even have to do this one
11-1 Boise State - this one either
ill even throw in TCU
12-0 TCU - one win vs currently top 25 team. #20 Utah, the powerhouse of a team. enough said.
id put TCU ahead of any 1 loss team except Auburn, which is what the BCS will show you should Auburn fall this weekend.
you are only as good as the people you play. of course any of these teams could beat any of each other "on a given day", but until that day comes, its all speculation and you have to go with whats on paper. why dont some people get that?
