Like the Play Todd....SMU should have beaten Maryland on the road..Outgained them..Got off to a bad start with TCU but played them evenly form the 2nd quarter on....The plumlee QB cannot throw the ball...Not a fan of his...

Like it even more… players will be motivated to ball out. New uniforms, new mindset

LOL..there u go agains with the defensive stats..it is meaningless so early in the season....They have not played the same teams....Weren't u the one saying FSU has a top 10 defense?

Which was meaningless at the time...Not sure why you would mention it..Everyone knows they did not have a top 10 defense..anyone that watched them vs LSU....

SMU just played Maryland and TCU...

UCF just played Florida Alantic and GT....

U tell me who are the better teams? Of course their rushing defense will be worse..Also SMU is a high octane fast pace scoring team...so their defense will be on the field longer..

Early games I assess USING TARP   systems and FSU was in top 10 ....

Defensive numbers are important to some cappers ...

I know what you're getting at and SOS is something else to look at all season long..

In the end...Stats aren't as meaningless as you may think

The 2019 LSU team, which many considered could be the best team ever...Their defensive stats were in the mid 40's nationally...they gave up a shiit ton of yards and points..Why? Not because they were bad but because the offense scored so fast...that defense was loaded with NFL talent and they had all world DC Dave Aranda..But when it really counted.....When they played in the playoffs the defense shut down both Oklahoma and Clemson and showed why it was a great defense when it wanted to be... College football stats are skewed..unlike the NFL...where their is more parity. Reason why teams like Lincoln Riley Sooners always had bad defenses...Its because the offense scored so fast and the defense had to be on the field a lot. I am sure their defensive numbers would be better if the offense did not go as fast and were on the field more...U can't have it both ways......
