I've been leaning toward Michigan since the lines first came out and over the last couple of days I've been trying to find a reason to take va tech instead. The one thing that makes me nervous is the fact that I know Michigan will give up turnovers. But with everyone saying va tech has this good defense that should be able to shut down dennard's "one dementional" offense it made me second guess my pick.
After second guessing my Michigan pick I revisited the stats and took a good look at both teams strength of schedule. Personally this is a no brainer to me and I am confident that michigan has faced a much tougher schedule then va tech. ( mich state, Nebraska, Ohio state, and an Iowa team that seems to only play well at home).
Va tech was barely able to beat NC, miami, and duke, and the only real team I see them playing was GA tech (which we all saw lose to Virginia, like really Virginia??). Then you have the one team that actually beat va tech (twice), Clemson. Clemson has been hit or miss this season after starting off really well. Yet clemson was still able to blow out va tech both times. BOTH!
