Snead is overrated IMO....he misses way too many passes and is not effective throwing on the move. SC will blitz the hell out of him and make him make quick decisions and or move him out of the pocket. Ole Miss has in my opinion 1 dynamic player on offense (his name eludes me right now) but he returns kicks, does the reverses, and plays WR. If SC keys on him and keeps the run game at bay this will be a tough one. One thing I do know is if the line is in the high 40s Im on the Under because both defenses are stout and aggressive. But the oddsmakers are telling us this will be a tough game. The #4 team in the land "only" laying 3 at a supposed middle tier SEC school. That screams SC but thats not enough for me to back them.

havent posted in a while.. recovering from some pretty bad beats.. but SC hasnt been battle tested either?? SC beat a NC st team who shouldve won that game anyway.. so youre telling me putting up a whopping 7 pts against NC st and letting UGA throw all over the damn field on you makes you battle tested?! It was 17-16 at halftime against FLA ATL at home!! let me guess, SC was looking past them and waiting on Ole Miss..SC scored 14 of the 21 pts in the second half off of TO's..yes home dogs do cover alot on Thursday nights, but alot of them are huge + pts and most are in conference games such as this.. Sure SC can win SU, but are you willing to hope SC can contain Ole Miss' offense and hope to outscore them?!

What ever happened to picking plays based on matchups and not a home dog or road fav or any other system that just blindly makes a pick on something like that? I can see no real trend in any of those systems this season on non Saturday games. Am I missing something here? I am not pimpin anyone ok? just asking

in weeknight games. 50/50. the 2 road faves that covered were high scoring teams(Tulsa&Boise) playing opponents they have owned(tulane&fresno). The 2 home dogs that have covered(Toledo&BG) . Toledo against a bad CO team. and considering SoCar won at Ole Miss last year, and almost beat UGA down there I ll take the points at home.

Although two All-American linemen and a big-play receiver are headed for the NFL, the program seems to be in good hands. The stars of this game -- McCluster, quarterback Jevan Snead, and cornerback-punt returner Marshay Green -- are all coming back.
add to this is running back Brandon Bolden (who rushed for 101 yrds in the cotton bowl as freshman) and this year is 8 yrds per carry
Marshay Green switched to defensive cornerback from offensive side.... so this is his second year.
Also, Nutt and Nix are second year coaches.

Here is my take: Ole Miss will not have an easy time because of the hostile environment and the Thursday home advantage. Short week is very tough on road teams. That being said, Ole Miss is the better team and if the Rebels win the turnover battle they will win the game.
