Iowa St is horrible, were they ranked 13th? Buckeyes pummeled a nationally ranked team.  Baylor beat TCU.  TCU should be behind both of them. Think they got it right.

You don't get it. They could have won 140-0. TCU was F'ed unless Baylor and Ohio state lost. The point was a tough game or championship game at end of year. It sucks for them and is definitely not "fair" cause the schedule is the schedule but that was the reason.

I think it was a direct shot at the Big 12 for no title game. We'll see if they listen.

I think the committee got the right 4 teams in there so everyone can quit bitching.  The fact that TCU was listed as #3 last week makes no difference.  TCU, Baylor and Ohio State were all basically even going into this week and Ohio State easily made the biggest statement.

I think the title game solves it more completely or would have this year anyway. 

I was very impressed with the TCU coach's interview. Very classy guy.

If the end result is admittedly NOT FAIR, then exactly what was the point of creating a playoff system???  We all know TCU is better than Ohio St, and one of the 4 best teams in CFB... why doesn't the committee know that, and/or why is that fact considered to be irrelevant simply because their last game was against a bad team?

Bama wouldn't be favored by 10 over TCU, I can promise you that! Vegas knows who the 4 best teams are, but this committee doesn't...

gentlemen.. the big 12 will have a title game.. why not make baylor and tcu play each other in a bowl game.. its the only way either team remotely shows up for it.

I agree.  TCU would give Alabama a lot of trouble.  Ohio State, on the other hand, is nothing more than a tune-up game for Alabama.

why does the big 12 need a title game?  all of its teams already play each other--they just need to stop playing fcs teams

Iowa State beat Iowa by 3 at the exact same venue that Wisconsin beat Iowa by 2.

Wisconsin play @ Iowa State would literally be a coin flip game.

Big 12 is ran by a idiot pac 12 has 12 teams big ten acc and sec all have 14 big 12 has 10 they need to get a clue and get with the program add at least 2 more schools to get to 12 and add a conference championship that way u arent playing a 2 win team same  week everyone else is having title games than u wonder why the big n12 didnt get in the playoff they are way behind the times plain and simple
