I listened to a committee member explain the process every week on a local radio show........I guess TCU / Baylor fans and coaches missed it.........
The ratings given out one week......have ZERO to with with the next .....it's a reflection of their thought process at THAT GIVEN POINT......
*their weekly meetings were for commercial reasons ...and to make sure they were staying informed....the rankings given out of course worthless
*the VOLUME of work seemed to be critical......a team with 6 wins would be ahead of a similar team with 5.....simply because of that extra win
*and things like head to head match-ups...were not taken into consideration......until necessary at year's end......so of course TCU was ahead of Baylor until the final ranking
SO....to ASSume this process is much like the previous rankings.....where you work your way up step by step....is wrong
The 'lovable' Frogs........don't 'deserve' a damm thing.........
*last 2 years...Frogs are 6-13 in Big 12 play.....11-14 overall.......2011 a MTW team.......so now.....even though they finished 2nd in the Big 12.......hey whydontcha put US ahead of OHIO ST (36-3) who won the Big 10 outright........
I hope Ole Miss beats the crap out of 'em......
The impediment to action advances action - what stands in the way becomes the way.

But TCU has more impressive wins than Ohio State haven't you been listeningt to the arguments? TCU is 2-1 vs ranked opponents and has zero wins against top 10 teams. Compare that to Ohio State who is 3-0 vs ranked opponents with only one win coming against a top 10 opponent. And a second place big 12 team is way more deserving than a team than the Big 10 champs! Okay I'll stop now I'm starting to sound ridiculous hahahaha.
Only thing worse than arguing TCU against Ohio State, is arguing TCU against Baylor. Those arguments are really hilarious.

I like the take on Iowa st wasn't ranked and Wisconsin was ranked 13th..can you honestly say Wisconsin didn't lay down for the big ten $$$ they will get by being in the playoffs?? Let's see big ten, sec, pac 10 sorry they couldn't shove FSU OUT....the ONLY UNDEFEATED team in fact 2 years running and they are the reigning champion and still the fat ol coronets tried to push the out to bad Oaklahoma, Texas , or Michigan could play their way into the 5 spot FSU would have been dropped
You think Wisconsin laid down for Ohio State? Hahahahaha!!! That's even funnier than saying TCU deserves to be in. The players on that team don't give a shit about the school getting extra money, especially if it means getting absolutely embarrassed.
And I don't think you know the intricacies of throwing games. Usually there's a few bad plays/calls to stop momentum at key points, and the team fails to cover by a touchdown or so. Throwing the game and not covering by 63 points is a little overboard hahahaha. Nobody would volunteer for that embarrassment. Unless you believe that the Ohio State playoff money will be distributed to Wisconsin players personally, then throwing the game would make sense. And if you do believe that, I got some oceanfront property in Idaho to sell you hahaha.
