TD Week 3

Question

I don&#x27;t know about you boys, but that week 2 felt like week 7 feels most seasons.  Pretty rough ..... I broke even on $, couldn&#x27;t even tell you my W/L record at the moment.  Felt really good at halftime of at least 3 wagers just off the top of my head, then none of them came through in the 2nd half.  Oklahoma total, Penn State total, North Alabama.Missed part of the early games with my son&#x27;s fall baseball league.  Still d@mn busy and I don&#x27;t see that changing good forward (means my picks may be average at best, but realizing I need to change up my approach some just based on time management).And offshore openers are a different ball game this year with Circa Sports offering opening lines before them, so not as many soft opening lines IMO.  I wasn&#x27;t smart enough to realize that last Sunday.I locked these in this afternoon...... wasn&#x27;t even going to do a Week 3 thread, but FWIW here is what side I am on thus far.Duke -6 &amp; -7 (1.5u overall)Texas Tech -3  (0.75u)Penn State -16.5  (0.5u)Central Michigan -4  (0.5u)USC -2  (0.5u)Iowa &#x2B;3  (0.5u)Preseason "GOY" lines in play this week (previously posted in my Week 1 thread):Oklahoma -11.5  (0.5u)Clemson -20  (0.5u)Washington State -7  (0.4u)Wish I had put more on those 1st two "GOY" plays.Good luck to everyone in Week 3!

I don&#x27;t know how you can&#x27;t auto-fade Arizona against any team that can score, and Akron, against any team with a team, at this point.  I was shocked to see ISU open as a favorite. They aren&#x27;t any more. USC and I tend not to do well together, but I&#x27;m sorely tempted here. They were good to me, team total-wise at least, last night. &#xA;Ah fall baseball.  Remember it well. We were forever fighting the light and the weather, but it was fun and low key.  Good seeing you around.

Good seeing you around.  [/Quote]MaineRoad, good to hear from you.  Agree on Arizona and Akron.  Arizona RSW total Under 7 -150 was my largest RSW play of the season.  Prior to the season starting, I had this game circled as a pivotal game.  Then the Hawaii loss happened in Week 0; I&#x27;ll take it!......   Still like Texas Tech here to win and cover as much as I did a month ago.  And I might be the only one out there with a Week 2 UAB ticket that lost, ha.  UAB -12, -10, &amp; -7 hook all made my card somehow.  Backdoored by Akron to lose the -12 play, almost forgot about that earlier in post #1.  Aside from A&amp;M scoring late, it just wasn&#x27;t a good day for catching many breaks on Saturday.And USC probably better off with the QB change.  We&#x27;ll see if the true freshman can keep it going, but that sure was a strong debut.Good luck this week and moving forward!

Because I bet the game (on a blind Tideman tail), I watched the UAB /Bammy State game. UAB has issues. Akron, apparently, has more.

I'm not convinced beating Tennessee makes you good. On the other hand, Clay Helton.

With the game in Arizona, I wonder if Coach Handsome can come guest play-call for the Raiders.

Charlotte is going to go 9-3 ATS this year. Catch the wave. I wonder if SMU might not join them.

I think South Carolina State has a puncher&#x27;s chance outright.  Unfortunately, the ML is "only" 13-1.  The Citadel, on the other hand, is 35-1, which has my attention. Was just looking at Furman  That&#x27;s a good number.  I think it&#x27;s still around too.  Not digging the line movement in the CMU game.  Need AMD - the "King of the Directional Michigan Schools" - to weigh in. I&#x27;m not messing with Oregon at the moment, and have absolutely no idea who Southeastern is playing.  Will need to go find out.

I just think Duke is the better team here.  Simple as that and I like laying less than a touchdown with the superior team.  And David Cutcliffe is very tough on non-conf teams!  Take a look at his non-conf ATS record over the years.  Not really much HF advantage for MTSU either IMO.  I&#x27;d make the line closer to -10 myself.

SE Louisiana is at Ole Miss.  And let me know if AMD has a play on the CMU / Akron game.  Much respect for that guy! .... I&#x27;m probably going to fade Akron all year until the oddsmakers&#x27; #s align closer to my own.  Took CMU before I knew Dormandy was out and I&#x27;d take them all over again here at home between Wiscy and Miami on the schedule.  CMU has some other reasonable QBs on the roster.  Akron defense, pretty lousy IMO.And definitely a spot play here against Oregon..... off the skull f&#x27;cking of Nevada after the Auburn game meltdown, I think they take the foot off the gas here against a solid, experienced FCS school with the Stanford revenge game on deck.  And Montana just might have a better secondary than Nevada.

Boy that seems like a lot of points for Ole Miss to be giving anyone.  SELA with an impressive win over JaxState to open year.  Didn&#x27;t Jax State go to Oxford and win one back when the Rebs were decent?  That line feels like it comes from a different season.

Good memory MaineRoad, I had to check it, but that was 2010.  Jax State won in double OT.  Ole Miss wasn&#x27;t great at the time.  Hugh Freeze arrived in 2012.
