The battle for the mayors cup. This game is normally a close game so I wont go nuts on this game, but after looking hard into this game it looks like a onesided game. Nova is ranked 14th in the fcs rankings but even the coach admits this is off of reputation. They were picked 7th in the caa. This team was built on sr leadership last year, but this year is a major rebuiling year. A small inexepienced line, their one good returning starter tore an acl. also their starting qb is a true freshamn. their defense is depleted. I am friends with some of the guys on the team, and they told me it will be a major step back this year.
Temple loses a 1st round pick and a 2nd round pick from that defense, but still has alot of talent, including a good secondary. Their running game is really going to carve up the defense with peirce and brown.
im loving this game right now with temple at home as a pick em for 3 units..
will do a major write up if you guys want, but thought this info was suffieceint.

Opening line tells you all yu need to know. Bad spot for Temple. Good luck!
I disagree but we will see
This is a rivalry game and Nova actually won the game 2 years ago
I love the new Temple coaches especially OC Loeffler DC Heater and HC Addazio they will have the Owls prepared especially on a Thurs night with a long week before Akron
Nova has MASSIVE personnel losses and this is simply a matter of talent differential being more than 4 points
I think the opening line is off by at least 3 points should be Temple -7 AT LEAST
Wish I would have gotten it at PK but it is still one of my largest Week 1 plays.....
GL to all
Coaches know ...... Nova picked 7th in CAA .... yes in time they will win games as FBS member ..... but not this year

nova also did all but cover the spread last year....nova was up by 2, temple kicked a FG with 5 seconds left...kicked off. and intercepted a lateral and returned it for a TD as time expired to win by 7 and cover the spread.

i actually was on temple that night....i had them -4 and they didnt count the TD till about 3-4 hours later, when the final tape must have been reviewed....all the online sportsbooks credited NOVA +4 and a winner, and Temple -4 as a loser, only to switch it later after the final score had been determined....
far and away the craziest, weirdest, miraculous end to a game that I HAVE BET ON in my history as a sports better. Temple had no business of covering that day, and they were severely outplayed as well.
