Now that the fierce
battle is over and the more experienced QB in Sumlin's system has won the job,
I already believed A&M was the play but now I am more confident in picking A&M
to cover and possibly outright win.
The Def. was very young
last year, thus naturally more experienced this year, as well as the overall
talent on the team matches S Carolina's or better. I've been following
Sumlin since his days in Houston and his offense appears legit. The only
team (of those Sumlin’s A&M has played in the SEC) that has held this
offense in check is LSU.
I think by the end of
the season the media talk will be more about Sumlin’s offense than that of how
good the QB is.
Any thoughts are welcome.
