TEXAS A&M names KENNY HILL as the Starter

Now that the fierce battle is over and the more experienced QB in Sumlin's system has won the job, I already believed A&M was the play but now I am more confident in picking A&M to cover and possibly outright win. 

The Def. was very young last year, thus naturally more experienced this year, as well as the overall talent on the team matches S Carolina's or better.  I've been following Sumlin since his days in Houston and his offense appears legit.  The only team (of those Sumlin’s A&M has played in the SEC) that has held this offense in check is LSU.

I think by the end of the season the media talk will be more about Sumlin’s offense than that of how good the QB is.

Any thoughts are welcome.

The A&M at SC game will be close, imo.  A&M's Defense will be improved because they have been recruiting lights out the last 3 years since upgrading to the SEC.  They will be playing a lot of underclassmen but the talent level will be much greater.  They have a lot of 4 and 5 star Defensive talent ready to play now.  As far as their Offense goes, it will still be high powered.  Their new QB Kenny Hill is a stud surrounded by future NFL talent. 

SC will have an awesome running game but they also lost a lot on D.  They are a great team used to winning at home but they seem to start off slow in the first game of the season for some reason.  They recently struggled to beat Vandy in their last season opener.  If they do it against A&M they will look up and find themselves down by 3 TD's in the first half.

 USCe won easily ly at home over a very hyped up UNC squad that was supposed to be a dark horse to win the ACC.  It would have been an even bigger blowout had there not been thunder and lightening to delay the game over an hour. 

TWO years ago, USCe opened their season on the ROAD at Vandy and won.  It was close until the 4th qtr but USCe was the better team and it's not easy to blow a conference team out on the road.

Does RECENTLY not fall with in the scope of the LAST 2 years to you ?  2012 against VANDY was the last TIME they opened their against an SEC opponent, Which TEXAS A&M is.
