So His Eminence the Idiot Paul "Curly" Finebaum says on ESPN that Notre Dame, because they got housed in the last 21/2 quarters against Clemson, should not be allowed into the Playoffs for another 5 years.
Hey Asswipe P, does that mean Bama should be banned as well? (They lost by more to Clemson than the Irish did) And what about Oklahoma?
I know Butt Wipe Boy is an SEC honk, but stay away from the Irish. Rot in hell Finebaum. (We have connections to get you there)

He has a point because ND does not play in a conference and does not have to win a conference ship game...Bama plays in the SEC..and has won Natty's in 5 of the last 10 years...They have proven themselves in big games...What has ND done in big games?

Wow, great points. So playing in a conference allows you to play Samford and New Mexico St., right? Conferences are a joke....the Irish schedule top teams (when they have an opening - Louisville for example wad Top 10 when they were scheduled) have NEVER stooped to play below Division 1. Conferences are for one thing - $$$$ and TV $$$$. Why would the Irish ever give up any of the pie? (They keep all the NBC $, all the playoff $)
Stay on point Davey. The REASON Pauley Ugly gave was getting asswhipped LAST YEAR in the playoff by Clemson, period. No other criteria. (Or do you want to compare the injury report for both games?)

Bama last season beat a top 10 LSU team on the road @ night...Beat Georgia a top 5 team in SEC ship game....Who exactly did ND beat last season...On top that....This year if Bama is to make it the the playoffs..will have to go though..LSU..A&M...Auburn and Georgia.....ND has to beat Georgia & Michigan this season to prove its worth..If they beat those teams...they deserve to be in..If they lose 1 of those game Adios Amigos..

Not saying Bama isn't great D. I'm just saying being in a conference doesn't make you more deserving of a playoff spot. As for scheduling, Notre Dame consistently schedules tougher opponents when they have an opening in their future schedule. In fact, right before Nicky S came to Bama, the Irish had an agreement to play the Tide 4 times over 10 years. Guess who nixed it? Yep, St. Satan himself. Guess he thought Samford would be a better game.
And in terms of being out after losing 1 game? That's called Notre Dame. As we know from 2017, you don't even have to make it to your conference championship game to be in a playoff. Another reason that conferences are a joke.
Finebaum is just trying to get more attention, he doesn't believe it. He's still sore from when Arab dominated the Bear back in the day.

Notre Dame Always Blows Against Quality Competition hence the embarrassment when y’all played bama and had players literally flinching in the tunnel while bama talked shit.

ND plays maybe 1 tough game a season....thats why they always get smoked in the playoff.....USC stinks now, BC stinks, then they usually play the powerhouses Navy, Army, Airforce.....yes they play Georgia this year, but ND doesnt deserve to be in the playoffs ever

Then Bama did the flinching vs. Clemson.

Best line I ever heard was Joe Paterno, after ND signed with NBC.....
"They used to be an institution. Now, they're a bank".
Lou Holtz was better...
Holtz said the high number of immigrants coming to the
U.S. constitutes an “invasion.” And he said new immigrants need to
assimilate better. Holtz added that his grandparents learned English
after immigrating to the U.S. from Ukraine, and insisted his family
learn it as well. New immigrants to this country, he continued, need to
learn and speak English and “become us.”
“I don’t want to become you,” he continued. “I don’t want to speak
your language, I don’t want to celebrate your holidays, I sure as hell
don’t want to cheer for your soccer team!”
Preach on Brother Lou!
It's nice to have a president with balls and a first lady without them.

Holtz's comments on learning to speak English were the blueprint for a speech on the same subject by an American President. His name? Obama (2014 I believe). It's on YouTube

The Irish do not have a good track record in recent years in "the big games", so maybe its time to start looking at next best options to be in the play-off. However on the other hand, how can you penalize a team that has a great year (pending overall strength of schedule and team) just because they have not done well in recent years in those big games.

So PawwwL has trolled you into defcon 1 state of frustration! That’s what he does, that’s what he’s good at, he just pancaked you and scored. Why are you getting so pissed off over someone’s opinion?
I don’t think ND was a top 4 team last year. It was Clemson, Bama then a step down was Georgia, then a large step down it was Oklahoma.. I think if ND played all those teams 10 times, they’d be 0-10 vs the first 3 and 4-6 vs OU..
I think the 4 best teams need to be in, Clemson should’ve played UGA last year and Bama vs OU.. that’s why we need a “play in game” if it’s a close decision. Last year ND vs UGA or OU vs UGA to see who gets in.. if it’s a close decision between 4&5..

I forgot to add that Paul is the love child of Dumbo (ears only - Dumbo is far better looking & far more intelligent ) and Uncle Fester of the Addams family.
I know - this is petty and mean spirited. But the little troll deserves it.
