College Game day on Saturday morning is the only espn show worth watching especially Bear and Herbstreit. The

basketball version is also superior.

Wow, great points.  So playing in a conference allows you to play Samford and New Mexico St., right?   Conferences are a joke....the Irish schedule top teams (when they have an opening - Louisville for example wad Top 10 when they were scheduled) have NEVER stooped to play below Division 1.  Conferences are for one thing - $$$$ and TV $$$$.  Why would the Irish ever give up any of the pie? (They keep all the NBC $, all the playoff $) Stay on point Davey.  The REASON Pauley Ugly  gave was getting asswhipped LAST YEAR in the playoff by Clemson, period.  No other criteria. (Or do you want to compare the injury report for both games?)
Bama last season beat a top 10 LSU team on the road @ night...Beat Georgia a top 5 team in SEC ship game....Who exactly did ND beat last season...On top that....This year if Bama is to make it the the playoffs..will have to go though..LSU..A&M...Auburn and Georgia.....ND has to beat Georgia & Michigan this season to prove its worth..If they beat those teams...they deserve to be in..If they lose 1 of those game Adios Amigos..

 

In 2018, Notre Dame beat 5 out of the 6 ranked teams it played.  It seems that the "One" is all that most pay attention to (including Pretty Boy "My ears double as motorcycle handles" Pauley....).

It doesn't really matter. Clemson, Bama, LSU, Georgia, Ohio State Wisconsin and Oklahoma are so far ahead of everyone else. I would not care if Clemson lost 3 times they are still one of the top four teams ND ain't beating any of those teams. So don't worry be Happy!
