The Wolf Pack rolled up 773 yards of total offense (10.4 yards per play) in last week's 63-28 beatdown of UNLV. That set a new school record. They also RUSHED for a school-record 559 yards and in the process set still another school record; having 3 guys; Mike Ball, Colin Kaepernick and Luke Lippincott each rush for more than100 yards. A LOT MORE than a 100 yards.
I know UNLV is not BAMA ok? But we all saw the Wolf Pack hang tough in their 31-21 loss to Missouri the week before. I don't think LaTech and coach Dooley have an answer for this offense. I can see NEV pounding the Bulldogs 105th ranked rushing defense, and keeping their offense on the sidelines.
Coach Ault is playing for his 200th career win tonight. Also, Star Nevada RB Vai Taua has practiced this week and expected to return tonight. As if they need more offense
I don't think LaTech can answer when they finally do get on the field either. I don't think that RB Daniel Porter, even though he is a great RB, is enough to carry the Bulldogs, especially versus a very stingy NEV rushing defense. IF Missouri's offense could only muster 21 points, where will the Bulldogs find that many?
IF I give LaTech 17-20 points maximum; and IF I project the Pack at 35-42 or so; THEN I have to lay the chalk -10.5 (actually hit it early for -8.5) 3 Units NEV
Those numbers also beg the question about playing the over. Surprisingly the total has hung pretty steady at 58. I have not played the total yet; I have to decide if LaTech can carry their end of the bargain before I can take the over. If I don't see that; it's one of those nail biting under plays for me.
Good Luck tonight guys

It's hanging in it's naturally enhanced state. Just waiting for a chance to put a smile on Mrs Smilin Bob's face
No Jackal, I have not, but I am really not surpised. That is why I have not played total yet; The over just seems too obvious and for the reasons in my write up... I can see this going under.

I like Nevada tonight but what does concern me is that they still gave up 28 points to UNLV. The line just surged to 11 now, looking more and more like a no play for me. Somebody please persuade me to stick with my intial gut feeling of Nevada. Backed out of last nights game and the Under hit which is what my gut told me. PERSUADE ME to take Nevada!!!

The line shift is a big over-reaction to the game last week. This is generally not a good thing for laying chalk. Also, Nevada is not a very good team overall, so laying -11 is not good in that spot either.
