Alright, so I called my buddy and asked if I could log into his account and look at the lines...sure enough they were different than the ones I was getting.
I called BetUS and got transferred 5 times, until I finally spoke to someone who said I was on a different "profile" than my friend. They told me they would transfer me to a supervisor who could take care of it for me, and when I spoke to him, he said they could not change my profile to my friend's profile.
Here's the kicker - they told me they could change my friend's profile to my profile (meaning he gets the normal lines like me), but couldn't change my profile to his. I asked why and he said "the system wouldn't let him do it." So I started bitching about how it makes absolutely no sense that different customers can't bet the same lines, and he told me the only way I could get those lines was if I started up an account.
This is AMAZING...
wow, Linde, I surprised they offered up this much information to you regarding this. The solution is to use one of these sites to bet strictly your favorites all your long and form a "favorite" profile and then pound a game later on in the year on the dog side for a big unit play and hopefully make them pay for it

Thanks for the knowledgn lindetrain. I must be naive, i know different books have different lines. I assumed everything was straight. (They can change, but posted would be the same for all- like a LV board) I am with betus now and will be looking to get with 5 dimes as an alternative asap. It is unreal that a supervisor at betus told you about multiple profiles relating to different fucking numbers? amazing

Thats the exact reason my friend and I left BETUS last year. We were playing with a bookie at the local poker room when I lived in California. After we started cleaning him out (believe it or not), he gave us limits on our bets, so we said the hell with it and put our money offshore at BETUS.
So we are at my house and I have my laptop and desktop in the room, we are just chillin and surfing the net. I went to check the lines and he did two... we both log in and were getting different lines on the games!
We thought maybe it was just some glitch in the system... NOPE! The next day same shit. I could not believe it.
STAY AWAY FROM BETUS AND BODOG IF YOUR PLAYING BIG. THEY CAN SCREW YOU.

Lindy - bad books do this all the time, is pretty well known, and has been going on a long time.
I realize you are just experiencing it for the first time, but these "recreational" books all do it.
I dont necessarily think it is a bad thing if you have more than just them on your list, you should be able to pick and choose when it is advantageous.
Support your local animal shelter. I am on twitter.

Hey linde If you think you're going to show BetUS and withdraw your money you got another thing coming. How long? forever and they are happy to lie to you .

don't kid youself the "regular" bookies do it to, my grandpa was a bookie and he used to do the same thing, he would track your bets and on most nights be able to tell you what you were going to bet and he would tax those lines harder for you and you only!!! the "regular" bookies do it as well, this people aren't in the buisiness of handing out money folks!

Exactly right, 10-15 years ago used to drink a few beers at the used car shop (a.k.a front for local book that sold about 1 car a month) on Sat mornings and listened to them give out different numbers to various callers or give an exaggerated line if too many jumped on a game or depending how they felt about the game they might leave it and roll the dice.
After beating those guys only 5 out of 10 years while not getting numbers until Sat morning, getting crappy 3/7 parlay odds, scratched games, and the rest, moving offshore and showing a good profit 4 of 5 years was a piece of cake.
