Bison up 21 - 7, and that was ONE HELL of a lucky 1H win.  It looked like Bison might be down by 3 at half, then bam, blocked field goal leading to quick TD.  Bam, interception Bison with long return.  If this was a paper ticket, I would need some tape.

My far bigger play is on full game, and I am going to be looking to try to middle this thing to reduce the risk on the rest of the bet.

Taking Towson +7 2H for half of wager, not because I think it's a great play, but just to reduce the risk based on what I've seen.  If the Bison can outscore them by 1-6 pts 2H, I'll have the middle.  BOL

Another reason for reducing my risk is the field is complete trash.  Entire strips of sod are coming up and tripping people.  I'll be surprised if someone doesn't blow out a knee on that crap before the end of the game.

I should have grown a pair and let the full monster bet ride going into the 2H.     Couldn't get the middle, but between the nice 1H hit, and winning half my large 2H bet, big hitter!!   No contest.....thank you NDSU Bison!

Yeah, and normally that wouldn't have been a question, but it was a very large play.  So, even backing out of half is a nice profit.  Not to mention I got in a 1H play that I wasn't planning, so wound up winning on the game about 70% of my original full game bet.

Had I not hedged, of course, it would have been an absolute monster. Live to bet another day.....

Fair enough....I hate hedging a single game bet; I will hedge up on some parlays, but it has never worked out for me on a single game.

Best approach for me is to keep it simple and unload both barrels when there is a team worth going deep on...and there aren't too many of those around.
