This is the one for me boys.  The party starts tonight and wont end to early Tuesday am (if I make it that far).  Ive got a big 4 day weekend ahead and Im so pumped up I might start drinking now 
 
Before you come bashing let me say this is truly the one team I completeley follow...  I watched every game...  most of them 2-3 times on my DVR I know whats up...  Im not gonna go thru all my posts but I think I went close to or undefeated in every Buckeye post cant remember exactly.......
 
I have a pretty good idea how this game will go.  Ohio State is going to RUN RUN RUN.  If Chris Wells is successful on the ground LSU doesnt have a shot. If OSU cannot run they can beat this team up top.  As a matter of fact I hope they throw on them but I know Tressel...  run and control the clock play field position and let your defense win the game.
 
Throw all the stats out for this game.......  they are irrevelant.  Its all about the desire to win.  The Buckeyes have a much different mindset than last year...  Its all business this time.  They are jacked up more intense than the Michigan game.  This intensity will win this game........

Good Luck Buckeye - I hope they respresent the Big 10 well like Michigan did!  Wisconsin and Illinois didn't do so well!

You know it would stupid of me not to take the pts in this game also.  4 pts is a big spot in this game...  It would be painful for me if OSU lost but money comes first in my book........

I'll be on the Buckeyes as well. Read this morning that Tressel gave the players a DVD of TV commentators hating on the Buckeyes. Love the chip on its shoulder Ohio St will have. Hope your Buckeyes get it done.

I was thinking LSU all year, and after watching all Dogs cover and the public taking a bloodbath, I am all over OSU.

Big 10 graduates the most students by far. they are all over the country

 

2nd Half? are you serious? LSU has not better than opponants in the 2nd H, maybe LATech or some joker school

Saint-  Toughest test for bucks.  LSU is a great team no doubt and with home field yes...  but I disagree completely with any beat down this game will be close the whole way  GL to you!!!

Bowlmen, I thought your system was to take favorites of 6 or less....LSU would be the pick according to your system....which is doing quite well.

I totaly feel the same way although I am biased also. Look for the buckeyes to step it up and put all this VS SEC teams crap to rest. The majority of those loses where before Tressel was in Columbus.

Just like they should have been last year, the year before that, and the previous 27 years before that.
 
One thing that sticks out consistently with The Ohio State Buckeyes - they can't get it done. I'll take LSU for whatever my book will let me bet. LSU by 28.

With chili here.  LSU by a bunch.  LSU is finally healthy and I'm not sure that OSU's QB will be much of a threat.  I think LSU's D rears its head and shuts down the buckeye o.  LSU 37-Ohio St 17

I'm on the other side with LSU (-3 bought the hook). I'm glad they are finally ALL healthy on defense and Flynn will still be questionable. If Flynn does get the start he won't be 100% which gives Ryan Perrilloux another shot in a BIG game. Ryans first big game was the SEC Championship which he took the MVP beating Tennessee. I'm leaning on playing the under in the first half, I think it'll be really low scoring until they figure out each others defense/game plan.
 
Regardless of the winner, this will be a very good game and it will not be a blow out. This game will be decided by a TD or less.

If you think the game will be decided by a td or less, why in the world would you pick LSU -4? Wouldn't the percentages go to OSU plus 4? Doesn't make sense.

In all seriousness, I hope its a good game with the way everything panned out this year as a whole. I could care less about the whole Big 10 thing as well as the SEC thing.
My #1 reason I think LSU gets this done (and I do think by DD) is because they were given a second chance. I thought Kansas should of been in this game because they had an excellent year and deserved it. Even Georgia would have been a better selection. But, the powers that be wanted LSU.
Unfortunately, OSU is like Duke in college hoops. Everyone outside their area hates them and wants them to lose. WHY? Because both teams are always rated high in their respective polls because they get top notched recruits. Both demolish teams at home. They win alot of regular season games. But why people hate them is You're only as good as your last game. When they play against a team with equal talent both teams lose at an astounding rate for their backers. There is no loyalty when a gambler loses his hard earned cash and hence the hatred from people outside their respective areas.
