I doubt the OSU defense fears any team they play, and if they did, they'd have a major problem on their hands. Having no fear and possessing the strength on defense to stop everyone they face are two different things.
The thing about the Illinois game is, you can't change a few plays, we lost, get over it. You can make excuses like that for any team in any game this year. If team A would have did this in the 2nd quarter and not turned the ball over in the 4th quarter, then they would have won, but the reality is, they lost.
I don't see OSU giving up 57 points to any team, I agree with you there. To say OSU's running game won't be stopped is just dumb. Beanie Wells is a great running back, is he unstoppable, no he isn't. How about endorsing a rational thought and just say OSU's running game can be very effective if they get it rolling with the right balance of passes.
OSU has a good team. If they play their game, they can be in any game, just as any team can be.
Most of the people responding to you are giving you a dose of your own medicine. If you didn't think of OSU as a juggernaut and we're a bit more down to Earth with the Bucks, maybe they would respect you. Until you get off your OSU high horse, you'll continue to look like a misinformed fan.

The people telling you that are just serving you a dose of your own medicine. OSU wouldn't be blown out, if they would lose, it wouldn't be by an insane margin in my opinion. OSU had its moments in conference this year winning at Penn State and beating Michigan, but to me, that isn't overly impressive. They still struggled with Wisky for 3 quarters in C-Bus and lost at home to Illinois.
From what I can gather, everyone here hates you and wishes you would go away. So until you heed their requests, you're going to get these people bashing you and Ohio State, probably a little more than they should be bashed. The fact that you create a new thread hourly about OSU doesn't help your cause either.
Don't mistake me, I'm an even bigger OSU fan than you are and even I can think rationally and not let naysayers get to me.

The ONLY teams that deserve a shot are Mizzou, WVU, and Kansas. Each of these teams lost to a good team in a big game situation. OSU lost to ILLINOIS, a team that OSU isn't supposed to lose to, so that one loss is magnified and should drop them out of contention, but once again, they have a good chance of something good falling into their lap.

Have you noticed that even though OSU is one Mizzou loss away from the NC, NONE of the experts are talking about how good they are and how the deserve this opportunity?

So the SEC is perceived to be better b/c they get a weekly nationally televised game and since the Big 10 doesn't get this same opportunity, they don't get as much respect as you think they deserve?
That's like saying Notre Dame is perceived to be better than a boatload of other teams just b/c NBC broadcasts all their games nationally every Saturday.
The majority of SEC fans are biased but they have a legit reason to be with what has happened in recent years.
I'd much rather watch the SEC Saturday CBS game over 75% of Big Ten conference matchups. The majority of Big 10 matchups simply didn't wet my appetite.
I look forward to bowl season to see how SEC and Big 10 teams matchup with other conferences, not too root for their demise.
