Cheap, no. However, for as awesome as Bama claimed they were they still needed a trick play to gain momentum.

Clemson fans payed with reckless abandon and showed they have a athletes to compete. I agree that was a cheap way to win. It goes down as a W, but it sure did look like Clemson would win the game were it not for those two special teams blunders. No doubt in my mind. I've seen too many teams outplay a public favored team and just choke it away on a fluke play or two. Better ending would be Watson scoring the game winner. And this after stuffing Henry on 4th and goal-- looked stopped to me. What's a playoff without a controversial call?

As a Clemson fan, I must say the on sides kick was brilliant. Wonder what prop bet odds would be for Saban to pull a risky move like that. Makes me wonder if it was Kiffin's idea.  The kick itself was also insane.  I wish we had won. We had our opportunities. They made a few more big plays than we did.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa...settle down spaz. Bama missed a bunch of tackles and their defense did not play like it has in the past. Clemson had their best game of the year and they were down double digits with 30 seconds to play.

A cheap way to win? Did you say the same thing when Clemson resorted to a fake punt against OK? Hypocritical much?

if they didn't they would be badgering him from anniston to the gulf shores by what a foolish call that left Clemson with such great field position. how it is ..... he be hearing it until the day he left 'bama. way to give 'em the game .....ect ect 
admit he was clemsoning it there but it worked and Alabama won
