TCU is a great team, and i would agree that they would probably put up a better fight tnan Texas will, but TCU has played NO ONE...Utah? BYU? a 4 loss Clemson team? those arent good teams people....once i have seen them tested, then i will give them the credit they deserve
THANK YOU .........

What are you talking about? Of course it was the correct call. They got it 100 % correct. Time ran off the clock, they reviewed the play, and it clearly showed that 1 second was left. It was a horrible mistake by Brown and McCoy with clock management, but luckily for them it all worked out in the end.
no man... you're not understanding me...
you can't say it is the correct call to put back :01 on the clock on the last play, when it is never done at any other time in the game, even though the exact same thing happens every other time the ball is thrown out of bounds...

This thread is a very good example of what is wrong with college football, opinion is what decides champions and everyone is different. Regardless of what opinion you or I have, it has no business deciding the champion as human opinion is flawed by bias (including mine). This thread and others like it are some of the best example's of how a system such as this is consistently flawed and has to be simply because there is no way possible to get it right without playing it out on the field. The BCS game will be fun to bet on, but it proves nothing championship wise and never will until there is at least an 8 team play-off...

another rediculous thread about TCU being deserving to play for the National Championship. Why? why are they deserving? who have they beaten? I will answer for you ... absolutely nobody
They would most likely beat Alabama Utah did last year. Saying you lost because you were not "up" for a game as last year as many Alabama people did is a total cop out and pathetically arrogant..

And you are a total idiot if you think they lost to Utah for any other reason. They were one win away from playing for the National Championship, and then losing to Florida was the end of their season. Your local highschool team would have beaten Bama after that loss to Florida. This year is completely different, they knocked off the " mighty gators" and have a National Championship in their hands, only have to win 1 more. Thank God Texas won last week, who in the hell would want to play a team like TCU or Cincy in the BCS Bowl? Beating up on them would be about like beating up on a little kid, of stomping a mans ass who was in a wheelchair.... no challenge in that..... So go blow your TCU horn somewhere else moron!

I am glad that you posted that as it is a one of the best example's of how built in bias really does cloud reality for some people. You probably also believe that every 5 star recruit is better then every 3 star recruit because rivals says so, never mind undeniable example's of fallacy like Dion Lewis of Pitt who was only recruited by Pitt, Temple and Ohio. I post that because it is the same exact thinking that people like you really believe to be fact 100% of the time.
Sure, most years a good Bama team is better then a good Utah team, but to say that "Your local highschool team would have beaten Bama after that loss to Florida" pretty much sums the credibility of your opinions here as a whole. I realize that you probably (to be I am not sure here) joking, but you really do believe Bama was a better team then Utah last year.
Then you go on to say "Thank God Texas won last week, who in the hell would want to play a
team like TCU or Cincy in the BCS Bowl? Beating up on them would be
about like beating up on a little kid, of stomping a mans ass who was
in a wheelchair...." Make no mistake, Alabama wants no part of TCU who regardless of how Bama looked against Florida would most likely beat them because they are the better team.
Nothing personal against you as I already knew that Bias by some fans of teams like Alabama truly believing that they are that much better as a rule fully exists, just feel kind of sad that reality can be that distorted for some. Fortunately for you and others like you, tee current system hides you from losing to teams that are actually better then you like TCU so your world of illusion can continue...P.S. If you beat Texas it means nothing. As long as there are undefeated teams not getting a chance it is nothing more then a popularity contest designed to make money...

Although I am probably going to regret this, I will do it anyway. Please share with me and the rest of Covers, why TCU deserves a shot at the National Championship? Who have they beaten? This crap that you are saying is rediculous. What I said about beating a team like TCU and Cincy was the truth. So you play them and beat them, big fucking deal, what have you accomplished... absolutely nothing. That would be a real attractive BCS Championship Game... Bama VS some shit team from a shit conference. TCU would have lost 4-5 games this year if they were playing in the SEC and you know it.

1, It was the right call ultimately...NEB screwed themselves that last minute..
2. I dont know if TCU is better than Texas, and doesnt look like we'll be able to measure them against anyone aside from another non-auto qualifying school whom they already beat in a bowl game last year.
Final : ANY true non-bias overall fan of college football would be wanting to see TCU in the Championship....If anything to see what one of these schools could do...Its fuckstick old-school big name school pillow-biters that believe schools should be in a game because of their history or conference they're in.......all about $$$....which is sad, considering this is COLLEGE
