There can be only one. Wait the line will move with you. There is only one logical 2020 style play here. Be Patient and bet 45 minutes before the game.
71% of the money is on Saban and Bama. 64% of the tickets, it will grow, have patience and the rewards will be greater. Only fools rush in, an over eager and egotistical gambler and his money are soon parted. The Covid shadowy Buckeyes are the play and the punter whom wait for a much more enticing number will be rewarded with great riches. The Alabama team, whom did they cover and beat? A motley group indeed while the Buckeyes vanquished quite easily a man and team that tasted defeat only once. Ohio State has a myriad of ways to take down its foes with relative ease, the Crimson ones needed unimaginable special plays vs defenseless opponents that were held without their best and were overblown, overfeeding by a media based on annals of history that held no reason in 2020. The Gators, Bulldogs, Aggies, Rebels and Irish were mere media constructs as are the Crimson Tide. Lack of clarity and numbers of vision cloud the ability of the Buckeyes to take down Alabama in a manner the will leave many aghast with overreaction again and many a torn up paper ticket soggy with tears and some alcoholic concoction. Be patient as the boastful are not wary. They are a loud and shiny sort that are easily mislead and ultimately defeated. Let the numbers rise and riches both lined and great shall be yours. OHIO STATE shall be crowned King and the Red Elephant and its Master will show it isn't what some thought it was.
God is Good and the Ball don't Lie.

I’m afraid I don’t cap this way. Sometimes you fade the public and sometimes you don’t. If this line started going down then I’d worry and worry a lot because it would mean someone has better info than what’s available to us. Two examples from the NFL this weekend: Rams open at +4.5 and close at +3 though all the squares are betting Seahawks. The game wasn’t even close the dog won SU. Second example. Steelers open at -4 then go to -6 after Browns Covid issues are revealed and then, on the day of the game, the line drops by a full point to that ugly -5 even though most of the tickets are on the Steelers. What happens the dog wins SU and dominates. Now if something similar happens to this line, Bama backers should worry, but otherwise I think the original number (-7) was correct, and the public pushing this up is to be expected.

1) Fields had the game of his life against Clemson and now will have to duplicate that performance again on the big stage. How likely is that? These guys are still kids. It’s not like we are asking Pat Mahomes or Rodgers to have two consecutive monster games, we are expecting this from a young man who just had the game of his life.
2) Ohio State emptied the tank against a bitter rival in a revenge game where the opposing coach had snubbed their program. How likely is it that they can fill that tank up again against an opponent that is looking for some payback of its own? After all these are kids, not pros.
3) While Ohio State’s big game was last week all Bama has been thinking about is winning the Championship, so their tank should be full as they simply coasted against the Irish.
My only worry in backing Bama here is Sarkesian. I never liked him. I think he is overrated and now will also be somewhat distracted with his new job, which is never a good thing. But Bama has been through this before so I’m hoping Sarkesian knows how important it is that he does his job well in this spot.

Fat money, SEC homer money is indeed backing the SEC Champion, agreed The ss is like $$ but taken should be 3 system not a Qanon thing or whatever they are called. I doubt there is a less political person on this forum. I don't think politics matter at all to be honest. Companies are where true power lies. These elections are as relevant as Homecoming King or Queen and have as much impact. It is to distract the masses from Multi National Corporations doing what they do. Kennedy, Nixon-Ford, Carter, Reagan, Clinton Bush, Obama, Trump Biden it doesn't matter. The elite 1% and Multi National Companies run the world and always have from the East India Company to Google.

It's great that you cap games for YOU the way you do. Others cap games the way THEY do. Doesn't mean your way is better.
As for Sark? I must agree. he is overrated. I am not a fan of him either, That being said. If his head isn't 100% in this game and is even REMOTELY think of Texas at this time, he has no business being a coach of any kind IMO. Yes, I know he needs to start on getting all going for Texas, but come on. This is the game now and the only place he should be thinking
As for your thoughts on OSU? I agree with one point. They ARE kids. They will be fine.
Should be a good game

Fields is not a first-year starter. Yes it looked like last week was his best game ever, but actually, he has been performing like this for a few years now. The QB getting his first big game action is playing for Alabama being coached by someone who is out the door, throwing to WR about to go into the NFL. Too many distractions for Bama in this one.

If he can duplicate his performance, kudos to him. I guess I’m betting against it. What goes up must come down.

You mention above in responding to FRANKtheBANKss that waiting til the last hour to make a bet is a must. I'm not sure Frank would agree with you as a general rule to follow, but Frank likes OSU so he's telling us to ease off the gas pedal and wait for Alabama punters to drive the spread higher.
Not to try and change your mind, but when you check %s for bets written on the spread and on the ML, if you wait til the last hour you're only gonna see the final numbers. RLM and/or STEAM don't always show up an hour before kickoff. In fact, very rarely does that happen. The final %s an hour before game time are gonna hid all the betting action that came during the week. You won't see that smart money dumped $$$ on Team A on Thursday evening between 8-11pm (and at more than one betting site/casino)...or that there was steam on Team B the day before yesterday from 2-4pm...or that there was RLM on Friday from 10am-noon. Gotta be checking the %s several times a day, and more importantly, the "line movements" for the spread and the ML...not just the summary of the %s.
We've all seen this year where the line dropped before game time and Average Punter jumped on it as steam on the dog, or where the line spiked pre-game and Average Punter thought the public all got a secret text message at the same time about who's gonna win, or it was sharps dumping more $$$ on the fave because the number was still good. I'd actually be more worried waiting til an hour before to make a decision because the books are doing that more and more to try and influence Average Punter.
Not on this game because I didn't check "behind the curtain" all week and as solid as both teams are, they're still kids, as beginnerboy says. It would really suck if covid had any influence...they're all healthy young kids...prolly wouldn't even know if they had it...false positives?...the whole 9 yards, would suck if that had any bearing pre-game.
BOL for tonight's big game, and the rest of the NFL playoffs!!!
Cheers

If Fields and Ohio State are not locked in from snap 1, it can easily be 21-0 Bama before you know it in the first quarter. I think you’re betting on how well Ohio State and Fields will duplicate their offense performance like vs Clemson. The Northwestern game showed me Fields is not a star caliber NFL QB.
