I'm not typically one for POY/GOY type of shit, but I believe very strongly that this one is a winner. I will be flat-out shocked if Wisky doesn't run away with this game. Michigan is showing their true colors, DickRod isn't a good coach and he has brought this program to a "low" that Michigan fans never thought they would see. Their 4-0 start consisted of wins over EMU and WMU (who are both awful), a narrow victory over Indiana (not quite a powerhouse), and then Charlie Weis handed them the game against ND. Since that start, Big Blue is has gone into a tailspin, going 1-5 with the lone win coming against Delaware State.
Michigan's defense is the worst in the Big Ten and the offense is in the bottom half, not a very good combination. The least amount of points any Big Ten team has scored against Michigan's defense this year is 26 and the average amount of points they give up in conference play is about 34 ppg!! In their last road game, Michigan lost @ Illinois by 25 points, Illinois State only lost to the Illini by 28. Not very good company for the Wolverines to join. I figure Wisky should be in the high 30's, possibly into the 40's, which is definitely a positive for us Wisky backers when laying 9.5.
One huge betting angle in college sports is the revenge factor, and that certainly will come into play in this game. Last year, when these two teams met at the Big House, Wisky opened up a 19-0 lead, and then blew that and lost 27-25. If I remember correctly, there were a lot of questionable calls that went the way of the home team, helping Michigan hand Wisky their first loss of 2008. Despite the score, Wisky outgained Michigan by over 100 yards and dominated time of possession.
I watched the Purdue/Michigan game and let me just say that Michigan looks like a team that has given up. I'm a die-hard Michigan State fan and I've lived through the John L. Smith and Bobby Williams eras, so I know that look. Once they get down, they basically throw in the towel. The last time these two teams met in Madison was in 2007 and ironically that was also the week before Michigan played Ohio State, just like this season. Wisky won 37-21 and that Michigan team was a helluva lot better that this one, and better coached. I think the Badgers come out on fire and turn this one into a laugher by halftime. Prediction: Wisky 41, Michigan 16
Good luck ya'll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only thing holding me back is that Wisconsin has only beat 1 team by more then 10 and that is Purdue. (I don't include Wofford as a team.)
Agreed. I was all over Wisky the last two weeks (one winner v. Purdue and one ATS loss v. Indiana). They should move the ball at will against Michigan's D. Perhaps being back at home will be the key to the big win (like Purdue game).

* Michigan's best RB, Brandon Minor, is listed as questionable with two different injuries. DickRod has already said he doesn't expect much from him at Wisky.

Would you mind predicting the future for me? I've got Wisky at -10, which I'm completely content with laying, but do you think I can wait it out and get 9.5/9. This will be my biggest play of the year and I will have a write-up soon on here, but I'm just debating whether or not I wanna hit it now or try and wait to get something in the single-digits. I haven't even looked at Sparty's match-up this week yet, that's how focused I am on the Michigan/Wisky game
You know I'm a bit of a homer, but Sparty to win the NCAAB championship at +1400 is looking pretty nice!!
I can't see why the Wisky line would drop to anything below 9... I still see 9.5/9 in some spots and unless it doesn't hit 7 it really is not crossing any key numbers .
-10 Seems fine to me ... If Michigan was Purdue(who beat Michigan) this line would probley be 14+.... ... Oddmskers know they will always have Michigan backers and I don't think they want too much ML value out there for Wolves backers
... The More people look at Michigan they will realize how Bad they are sucking lately....LOSING 5 of last 6 and only win was VS Delaware St(the Bad Delaware school)
Combine all of this with Michigan having their Bowl Game on deck next week vs Ohio St
Wisconsin minus 10 or less should atleast be BIG 10 play of the year material ... Glad we agree Brother
Michigan St orPurdue should battle it out for the BIG 10 in Hoops
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

Thanks ya'll. Line is actually dropping, seeing it at -8.5 . I just don't see any reason to back Michigan in this. All signs point to a Wisky blowout. Oh well, I'm content with my -9.5. Good luck to us!!!

Be careful guys! This might be a trap! I'm not on any side. I'm on the side that makes me money, period! Look at Michigan last year. They only won three games last year with new coach Rick R. One of them was Wisconsin. He's improving a little this year and beat ND.
Everyone jumped onto Michigan after Purdue got shutout by the Whisky and Purdue look so shitty. Purdue Looked so awesome against the Buckeyes and started to fall out after that.
All I'm saying is it might be a trap and don't go overboard with this game. I lost big with Wisconsin last week because I thought that it was game of the year for me. Think again!!! Good luck to all either way! I bring you !
