He really is average. Not bad, but average. I watched 7 Arizona games this season and I must say, he misses way too many wide open receivers. How many today? 3? 4? Then he tries to run, but he never runs for any huge gains. He makes dumb decisions.

Having said that, this was his third worst game this year. He also comes through with some decent throws in the clutch and protected the football well enough and was productive enough in certain games to let that offense get some big points. Not enough to win their conference or a bowl game, but I've seen worse.

He really cost them today. And he was really dumb on that last play. But he can get better. That team needs a better QB because they played well enough this year to win at least 1 more game. So he'd better get better this offseason.

Thank you for making this thread. Last play aside, BY FAR the worst game by any qb the whole bowl season. ZERO pocket prescence. He panicked and rolled out so many times, rarely ever attempting a pass, that he finished the game with 23 carries for 33 yds. And he only meant to run maybe 5 times. Freshman or not he sucks big time and hurt his team. And a $25 bet does not produce sour grapes im speaking purely as a football fan.
