Nebraska may be getting ahead of themselves and they may overlook Kstate in anticipation of the Horns. I always hate taking teams the week before such a big game.
Nebr. is not overlooking k-state they almost got burned by south dakota
st. in a game that was alot closer than most people know. sdsu was the
game they overlooked and with bo pelini calling out there miserable game
against them. i expect huskers to win by at least 17
skers 31 pussies 10 and the only time kstate gave nebr a run for there money was when they had darrin sproles and hes long gone

and say nebr does get up early forcing kstate to go to the pass. then state has to try and pass against one of the top 3 secondaries in the nation and it doesn't take a magic 8ball to tell you thats not going to work

Nebraska is definitely not overlooking KSU. After last week they are going to have a fire lit underneath them and will look to atone for their poor performance.

I have been reading in these posts all week about how K. State beat UCLA...you need to realize that UCLA is a COMPLETELY diff. team from the team that lost to K State in week 1...the week of the Houston game they finally got their shit together and Chow figured a lot of things out...K State still got ran on that week...

The Huskers may very well win the Big XII this year, and likely will win this game. With that said, no team is going to win every game by double digits (see Alabama v. Arkansas a couple of weeks ago). This is one of those games where Nebraska will struggle to get out of there with a win in my opinion. A few things: 1) KSU is at home and knows that if they win they are in a great position to win the north, 2) KSU's strengths play right into Nebraska's weakness. Nebraska does not have a good run defense and we all know KSU can run the ball, and 3) KSU is a good team. They have wins against UCLA (which is looking better all the time), Iowa State (who beat TTU last week) and Central Florida (which is an above average non-BCS team).
I would say Nebraska by 4
1) No team goes in to any game and thinks "ahh hell, we can lose." So the K-State needs this game angle is pointless.

3) They caught Texas looking ahead to Oklahome
Don't overthink this people, K State's defense is simply too slow to hang with Nebraska. Once K State gets down 14, they will have to throw which is K State's weakness, while Nebraska continues to run all over them.
Nebraska 38 K State 17

Be careful; this is a huge game for Kstate and they have their best team in the last 5-6 years; That is a crapload of points and Nebraska will be lucky to get out of their with a win so a backdoor cover is either going to happen or Kstate just wins the game; Kstate has a great running game; are playing at home; and their fans will make up for the difference in talent. Kstate straightup!
...KSt has a great RB and both teams will run...ksts QB will throw short safe passes and they do not turn it over...KSt and i like under too.....good luck with your plays...just my opinion...Kst knows winner here may win B12 north...

I try to help people out and give them some picks (3-0 in mlb as well these playoffs) and they come to my thread and tell me exactly opposite of what I want to hear. I understand your concerns, but I don't put my hard earned money on something that I haven't studied. It's cool and just say "wish you no luck, on the other side." and be on your way. Saying that a team like Kansas St has a "great running game" makes you look amateur.
