I have always heard the phrase, bet against the public, but I never really tried to understand it. I feel like I had a revelation this past weekend though. I didnt post any picks last week but it seems to me that "the general public" got killed. I know, they wont be wrong all the time, and that Vegas isnt right all the time. But think of it this way.
If someone offered you stock in a multi-billion dollar company, such as Microsoft, for a reasonable or low price you would be all over it. Las Vegas is clearly doing something right, they can afford the best cappers money can buy. I feel as though if you bet against the public, you are betting on Vegas.
Its almost like you are at a BlackJack table and instead of playing the cards, you just say, "Im going to bet that the dealer wins in the end." Why not take the house? Statistics show they are favored.

I may be wrong in my comparisons but I was just trying to give a picture. But if you have any interesting info on fading the public or care to rip me, Im all ears. Ill be posting more info as I go.
