. Seems like many think - read a magazine, post on covers, take a couple underdogs and then to refer to the 'public' as some group they're trying to figure out and go against.
These thoughts were not directed at your comments (no offense, didn't even read it that close), and were referring to the later posts and concepts that home or road favorites or vice versa are any less likely to cover than any other group and irony that most of the public does not believe they are the public. Plenty of posters take majority dogs and their records are just as likely to be pitiful as the next.. If you read the comments it makes no reference to whether you or anyone else a good handicapper or not, so I don't have any idea where that comes from. BOL
this isn't a shot at you but your statement is just a mind set that alot of people on here have that fading the public etc is vodoo bullsh!t and i will tell you and nostradmus what i tell everyone else who tries this argument with me Casino's aren't built for free they cost billions of dollars to make, how are they making them if the public goes 50-50!!!! Vegas used to be interested in just getting 50-50 action but over the last 15 years they have realizing if they pay more it will return more so now that have started setting trap games out there so that they can really cash big, your mindset is the mindset that is the reason Vegas is growing at the rate it is!!! GL to you and you may be good enough to win like i said this is not a shot at you it is a shot at your thinking, some people with your thinking do good betting sports but i will tell you the majority don't!!!! 
I won't take that personally . My point is this. The New England Patriots are better than the Dallas Cowboys period. The question is whether or not the Cowboys will make a game of it. While I am mindful of what the public may or may not think that doesn't completly influence who I take. That's what capping is for. To sit there and "oh 85% of the public likes New England, I'm taken dallas," makes no real since unless you have a lot more to add to it. That's all I'm sayin but anyway GL
