What a wonderful day of sports for me personally and for sports in general. My head hurts this morning and I am unsure whether it is from all the beverages i had from Noon to midnight yesterday or all the screaming i did watching sports. My local watering hole and my friends thought i had lost it. What a wonderful day. Not only did i hit my 3 straight bets (OVER in Bama game, TCU getting points and Ohio State getting the points) but i hit a parlay combining all the 3. I am a huge Caps fan as well and not only did they smack the Canadiens but OV had 3 goals to help me score a bet I made on him getting 2+ goals. Just tremendous.
However this is the college football forum - Bama showed that despite its in season missteps it clearly still was Bama and just pounded K State. Many Bama fans probably are saying I told you were should have been in the playoffs...don't worry Bama you will be in it for the next 5 years as with expansion it will be difficult to leave them out any year. TCU - man, like i said, these TCU kids are just plain fighters, live to play football, gamers, the type of kids you want to have on your program - may not have individual talent like some other teams but together they play so well. I am happy for them...A Frog (the lowest seed) has crashed the party fellas. Feel bad for Ohio State but what a game. Stetson Bennett is just another one of those kids that fight and loves college football - I don't know whether he will have a good NFL career but has to go down as a great college QB. It sets up TCU v Georgia in the championship...it should be interesting...early line is -13. You know everyone will be on Georgia.

Yes, i have bemoaned this fact all year - coaches going for it in insane situations and insane parts of the field and when the game is not even in doubt yet. To me it has really changed the game for the worse and i just hope that more and more of these coaches that keep doing it keep losing so it gets gutted out. I mean someone said to me the other day there isn't no rule against going for it - sure there is no rule except a coach's stupidity.
If you look at today's NFL no doubt you will see it happening here today as well.
