LSU and les miles thrive in big non-conference game. This game reminds me of the Oregon game a few years ago. The athleticism of LSU defensive and offensive line will prove to be dominant. Game will be 2 tds differential at least.
Iowa State is the play here. Have to take a BCS Conference team at home and dog. No brainer. North Dakota State lost their qb and head coach. The big boys will prove to be too much, even if its a squeaker, Iowa State wins.
Colorado State is superior at every position in this matchup. Anyone that watched the game last year knows that turnovers and Paul Richardson are the only reasons Colorado won this game.
Arkansas State game should be a 2td favorite in this one. 8 starters back on defense and offense has never been a problem for ASU. Montana State having to come into a hostile environment and to humid climate doesn't fair well for them. Arkansas State blows them out quick and early.
Washington with Chris Peterson, has a huge advantage in this one. Can't never go wrong with him in an opener. Plus washington is superior in every position. PAC 12 teams tend to play down in Hawaii, not in this one.

I like the Washington pick, but I wonder why it is so low. I know Miles is suspended for week 1, but they have 2-3 inexperienced but high caliber backups. The fighting chows will do their best, but I think Peterson will want to start out with a solid win and a cover.

Haven't looked into the two FCS games, but I like your other 3... could have all 3 of those on my final week 1 card, which will have no more than 8 to 10 games total... already locked in UW...
