I assume you're a Tech backer. With 10:00 minutes left and ticking, if State scores more than a FG, any chance of covering by Tech is basically over.
Right now, it's 28-27 M.State.
If they score a FG, it's 31-27. You then hope that Texas Tech can score a TD of their own to go up 34-31. You also have to hope that there is still about 6 minutes left so that they can get the ball back, and when they do, that they are intersted in scoring a TD as opposed to running the clock.
This is not looking good, even with a M.State FG. I don't think there's enough time here unless M.State thorws a pick that is returned for 7.

Any chance (and it's probably down to about 20% and dwindling) of a Texas Tech cover now depends on a quick scoring drive. With 8:05 remaining, they need to score, hopefully by the 5 minute mark or so.
It's also big for Michigan St. to keep it's timeouts. If Texas Tech is able to score, a big IF the way they have played in the 2nd half, and then are unable to score on their own possession, those timeouts will force Texas Tech to keep playing, to some extent.
Again, this is probably a longshot.
