I wonder if Goscots uses betting to teach math.

Team A is favored by 14 points, how much will team A be favored if you tease them by 7 points.

I need to send my son to be taught math by goscots.

 

I too would like to see goscots answer to FTS's question above about the UGA/TN game since he played for UT.  I have been on UGAs side all season and have gotten burned just think this line is too high IMO.

I'm thinking that TN line is a trap and UGA may win big here. Why in the world would UGA be favored by 13 over another SEC school in light of their season ?  Probably too good to be true...  I will be looking forward to his response too.

i like MTSU too, but i'm hesitant to even play this game, just cuz the QB Dasher got suspended for gambling... he took his $1500 school loan and went to play poker... i'm guessing he lost... i wonder how he's gonna make that money back??

I can see your logic here.  But if I was going to throw a game I wouldnt throw my first game back.  I would build some credibility first and probably not throw one at home and wait to get paid while I was on the road.

But one thing to think about the cash on this game will be higher since it is televised and the only bet tonight so it could be a higher pay day for dasher to throw a game.

yea... no doubt he's a better QB than the others, and he can run too! i hope he bets on himself and wins for everybody . I'm an action junkie, i say i wont touch this game, but most likely will be riding MTSU as well...

You could also use the logic if he would throw a game now would be the time as he could use the excuse of being rusty to cover up his throw.

Damn, I did use Memphis like three times!!!  It probably didn't help that I proof read this while I had 35 students in a 4th block Math class

Im on the other side. I do agree that dasher will give his team a boost, but they dont have a Jerrel Jernigan at WR, Also you didnt write about how great QB robinson has been so far as a freshman for Troy.

Troy to 550 to win 500
Troy ML 500 to win 700

3* Troy/MTSU Under (63.5) - Looks like “over” on the surface as Troy has some strong “over” trends (11-2 L13, 11-2 away) and MTSU returns explosive QB Dasher. However a closer look shows that most of those Troy games involved BCS teams, and while both teams have a good offense, these are easily the best 2 defenses in the SBC. The L5 in this series have gone under the total, the L6 have totaled 54<, and the L3 at Murfreesboro 48, 41, and 47. The Blue Raiders have scored just 14.2 PPG in L6 vs. Troy (never over 20) and at home have held L11 FBS opponents to 27< and 19 of L22 SBC opponents to 24< (17.8 avg.). Both teams have good return men but Troy punter Goggans is 2 time All-SBC and MTSU is #21 in net punting (39.3). Troy 24, MTSU 23. Season to date 30-23-3 (+14.3).
