 Wazzu -3.5 vs. Washington.......

 I figured Wazzu -7.5 @ home, which they are.

 I'm a Husky fan.......but a realist. Washington has been overrated by the linemakers all year (2-9 ATS), & the Cuogs are 10-1 ATS..........& the line WSU -3.5? The Washington D is good.....legit.......but the offense is suspect, mostly because of the new OC, not the talent......vs a Cuog D that is underrated, with a chance to embarrass their nemesis, Jake Browning.
 It'll be a great game.......no doubt.........but the Cuogs will cover.


 I figured this would be around 13

  Notre Dame -9.5 @ USC

 Really? ND has a chance to close out a perfect season vs. team in shambles? This is it,,,,,,last game before bowl season in which they have CFP hopes.......vs a long time rival.........think they'll show any mercy?

 I haven't done well this season so heed warning.....

Agree with ND, that spread will have to rise....I may take Washington and the points though, still considering.

Washington's secondary lays the wood....physical defenses have always shut the Air Raid down. A few big hits on the receivers and everything changes.

Or an early targeting penalty opens the floodgates for Cougies. Tough to pass on Petersen and Browning as a dog.

 I've had to learn to bet vs them this season. They're a whopping 2-9 ATS, while Wazzu is 10-1. The oddsmakers have given the Huskies too much respect all season........vice-versa for the Cougs. The Cougs having an actual defense makes the difference for me. That & the Huskies can't seem to play four quarters vs ANYONE. I get tired of the play-calling by Hamden. He seems to think they're BoisefukkinState, not Washington.

Not trying to hijack your thread, just thought it might be helpful.

24-20-1 YTD ATS

Washington @ Wazzou

Im not on the popular side here. I can honestly understand why Wazzou should win this game. They have exceeded expectations this year and this could be best Cougar team Ive seen in a long time... But I still think Chris Peterson is a better coach than Mike Leach. No doubt, Huskies havent met expectations this year... But this team is still very, very good. South Point look ahead lines had this Washington -13 before the season began, and while these two teams have had opposite seasons than forecasted, I havent seen anything to warrant a 16 point swing.... Most mathematical based systems have this game around a PK. That seems about right. Im going to take the +3. Washington secondary is good at disrupting routes and breaking on the ball. Wazzou much better pass defense than they are at defending the run.... Chris Peterson and Huskies have owned this series because they defend air raid well and control the game with the run. Ill take the points here and hope Peterson has some tricks up his sleeve to beat a rival

I hear you, the play calling for UW has been brutal all year long. The ATS numbers also speak for themselves.

The Cougs' red zone defense rankings have me concerned, so does them throwing for TDs in tight against the UW secondary. Other than that, the actual total D numbers are pretty close.

This may end up a pass for me, but best of luck on your bet.

  "Hope" is not a plan.

 If you haven't seen anything to warrant a 16 pt. swing from preseason, I guess you weren't paying attention.........how about the fact that the Cuogs went from having no qb before the season to having one that's leading the FBS in passing yards & TD passes?
 Both of these teams have a good defense. The one thing that bothers me most about the Husky D is their lack of ability to pressure the qb with a standard front. If they can't pressure Minshew on a consistent basis then he'll pick apart their vaunted 2ndary. His ability to find an open guy is impressive (10 different receivers had more than one catch in their last game vs. AZ).

 This will be a great game.............I just can't see Washington keeping up on offense.

 Weather won't be great but it won't be horrible.........some rain, some wind. It would seem to favor Washington......in theory. Depends if they line up run right at em or play their circus offense.

Hard to argue either , I’d like to see Pirate win so his team can make a decent bowl, crazy to imagine how bad that program was when he arrived, he finally has a Qb that can scramble if needed & doesn’t hold it forever like concussion did

GL bro....you may be right on this one, but I really feel the UW OLine mauling the WSU front....again...and Gaskin getting a lotta, lotta yards.....again.....no way I see this group of seniors taking a loss in this game......will pay to see Minshew shove it though...LOL

Looks like rain, wind at 14mph with gusts to 25.

Calling weather in the Palouse is problematic at best, but this is something to monitor. Minshew missed a lot of throws at Colorado in the wind...of course, that was at altitude.

 Trust me, I'm not playing the Cougs because I want to. But having seen every Husky game this year, many in person, & about 9 or 10 Coug games, this just looks like the right play. The Husky offense has been annoying inconsistent under Hamden.......the Cougs lead the Pac-12 in sacks, the Huskies are 10th........Browning has been sacked 19 times, 10 more than Minshew.
