Alabama -3.5 and -4
Line is up a bit but I will still lay up to -6.5. Clearly many will disagree but I just think this Bama bunch is something special. I said before the year they may be the best defense we've seen in a while and they've lived up to the hype. LSU is a very good team but when I look at the Tide I see MEN playing a child's game. LSU is very speedy but Bama has speed and POWER. I wasn't impressed with LSU's defense in that West Virginia game. If WV hangs onto the ball who knows what happens there. LSU is relying far too much on turnovers. On the other hand Alabama took an excellent Arkansas offense and just manhandled them. Lee and Jefferson are nice game managers when the team is up but I wouldn't trust those two turds to try and win a game against an NFL defense on the road at night. McCarron is the much better QB and he's getting better each week. The Tigers aren't running the ball efficiently at just 4.3 yards per rush and now they face a freakish run defense. I think if LSU finds 10 points it will be quite an accomplishment. But then again I'm sure there will be many eager to take 5 points with the #1 team in the country because these two are so "evenly matched" and it should be a "close game".
Oregon State +21
So Stanford just played a wild 3OT road game on national TV with a million lead changes and now they have Oregon on deck in their game of the year. If they have enough left in the tank to win on the road by over 3 TD's then it is time to acknowledge Andrew Luck really is a god. Love the first half here too, the largest lead Stanford has had in a road game all year at halftime has been 17-7. The fact OSU was dogshit last week seals the deal, it is even less likely Stanford wakes up for them. I'm not sure what happened last week but the 4 previous weeks OSU went 3-1 ATS and had found their offense averaging 32.2 PPG. I think they move it well here. Stanford probably struggles this week then blows the doors off Oregon next week.
Not gonna bother spreading money around 8-12 plays this week. Think these are all I'll need. GL.
