I hear the economic situation is pretty shit there. I'm quite certain Canadians are taking advantage of your mess by buying residential and commercial properties. Talk about getting hustled.

P.S: I did see the game between Florida and Kentucky.

Both offenses have dominating run games backed behind question marks at QB. The real scary team in the SEC is LSU. Alabama and Florida are 2nd and 3rd and way more even than anyone talks about. Floridas young secondary is offset by Alabamas young QB so thats an even battle. Im not sure Alabama will be able to consistently block the dominant trio of Floyd, Easley and Powell. Everyone talks about Alabamas defense but those three Gator lineman will be the 3 best defensive players playing Saturday night. Im sure Trent Richardson will get his yards but If I were an Alabama fan I would be just as worried about McCarron dropping back to pass.

McCarron has completed 75 passes without an int... He is 4-0... I am not worried about him in the least.

I just think that Alabama is a much more cohesive team, compared to Florida which is under new management. It takes more than a few weeks for a team to really gel and unite. And not to sound sappy, but these Bama players have been through alot together with football and with the tornado that tore up Tuscaloosa back in April. Coach, I agree that Bama fans should be concerned about McCarron being pressured, and about how he will react to the hostile environment, but throwing against Florida's young secondary, doesn't really compare to Bama secondary that Brantley will be facing.... Bama's secondary is their strength, and with two lock down corners, any rushed passes, or mistakes can result in quick points for Bama... You saw what happened to Tyler Wilson last week.... the kid took a beating. Another thing to look at when comparing these two teams, and defensive secondaries is penalties... how many pass interference penalties did they have against Tennessee?  I actually lost count, but they are young, and they will get better and become more disciplined, but just too young, and not ready yet in my opinion

    I'm on Bama here..

I just think, as much as the UF offense has improved, they still aren't where they need to be and I'm not sure they'll do much against Bama's D.. They didn't look THAT great against Tennessee, and if you can only muster 3.4 yards per carry against the Vols, I can't imagine how poorly they will do against Bama's front 7..

I don't think it;ll be a blowout, but something like 27-17 sounds about right..

I would agree with you Tideman but after watching the nebraska game last week and knowing Fresno St wen the distance with Nebraska I dont see any reason for anyone to put good money on a one dimesional team like Nebraska. If thats the case then were all on the wrong side , lets get the winner and bet the over!

I pretty much agree with everything you said. Especially about our young secondary and penalties. Just dont think McCarron is ready to win a HUGE road game at one of the tougher places to play against a very good team. I have been wrong before. I just feel this is going to be an ugly old school classic SEC type game. In that case, I will always take the points. Especially when I got it at 6

CrimsonRide you are a complete and utter fool! The DL at Florida is TALENTED but they haven't taken over a game yet! They were decent against a UT team that can't run a lick. You act like we are idiots for not recognizing how great this Florida DL is. And btw you are no Bama fan!

Florida has had 39 penalties for 315 yards

Bama has had 12 times for 119 yards

    Penalties could come into play..

Projections are for the birds until they reach the NFL, ask Ryan Leaf how his projection and stock went.... And I'm a huge Bammer, but I'm one who makes sense and isn't biased when it comes to knowing the chances Florida has of beating us. You act like Florida is just gonna allow Bama to come into the Swamp and lay down because of Trent and that "D" ... Our "D" hasn't faced a powerful game like Florida has, and I'm afraid we go down Sat night.

I know he's a DT idiot... I was comparing the success of the two individual players on defense in general, not on their specific positions and how they play at them. And Easely is smaller than every offense lineman we have, and is less experienced. Why you think he is going to be such a stud is beyond me, but I'm guessing it has a lot to do with you being a complete moron.

Donta Hightower over three years Total Tackles - 111, Total Sacks 1.5, and keep in mind, he was injured the majority of 2009, and wasn't 100% last season. I'm also not including 2008 when he had 62 tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble. Gay Bostic - Total Tackles over three years - 101, Total Sacks -  3.5, and 3 int's...

I also won't talk about Courtney Upshaw who had 52 tackles, and 7 sacks last season... Which is better than your boys.

Our D hasn't faced a running game like Florida's yet... However, I feel like we have a much better run defense than Tennessee, and they held Florida to 134 yards on the ground... LOL... We also proved that we can shut down one of the top passing games in the nation, with the best 4 WR's in the nation, and Fla and Brantley aren't even close to being on that level. Just my thoughts, I could be completely wrong, or you could be stupid. I vote you = stupid.
