i guess you did not consider the 57-14 slaughter of toledo on the blue as a 37 point favorite or 12-4 ATS record as a road favorite. or the fact that petersen has had 2 weeks to prepare for this game...
Toledo looked good against Ohio State, but OSU is not the OSU of old...
I say Toledo keeps it close for a half, then Boise explodes for a 42-14 final...
osu isnt the osu of old? really!! is toledo the toledo of old? is boise the boise of old? do you realise that boise coming at #4 is the highest ranked opponent they have ever played on their own turf? do you understand the emotional edge that gives them? i think boise st is over rated and im not questioning moores ability but that of the new recievers. will they show up and will they be ontime and in sinct with his quick off the gun passes. look for toledo to pressure the qb and get some interceptions control the clock and this game.

Toledo will get it handed to them. They will not keep it within single digits and here's why.
1.) Toledo will be having a complete hangover after pissing away last weeks game to OSU. Make no mistake about it, you ask any MAC team from Ohio who is the only team they want to beat its the Big Boy OSU from the Big 10. OSU blew off these kids during recruitment (understandably so) and they wanted nothing more than to beat THE team from Ohio. Yes, Boise is the best team they'll play but they won't get up for this game.
2.) OSU's QB play was atrocious. Think Kellen Moore will be that bad? Absolutely not. He will shred the Toledo D and additionally, Boise will be able to run the ball also. This is the most balanced offense Toledo will see all season.
3.) Did you see how many times Toledo shot themselves in the foot last week? Poor clock management, crappy special teams and an inability to capitalize doomed them. And that was against a subpar OSU team. OSU beat Akron who, as you'll soon find out, is one of the countries worst teams. Don't be surprised to see OSU finish with at least 4 losses this season.
4.) Boise plays these types of games ALL the time. A great Boise team goes on the road and is a 20+ point favorite - AGAIN! Chris Petersen and this team understand they have a job to do. Not just win and dominate, but win big on the scoreboard. They must to keep impressing the pollsters.
5.) Boise is coming off a bye and is rested. Toledo is recovering (on a short week, no less) from an incredibly physical game vs a superior oppenent in OSU last week. Anything Toledo had "saved up" came out against OSU. I guarentee you no one was saying, "To heck with the state power, let's save something for Boise!"
I believe anything can happen but Boise is one of the best teams in the country with a Heisman-caliber QB, a great D and a Top 5 coach. Toledo may have home field, but it won't matter come the 2nd half.
Boise St rolls.

i appreciate your view, and i understand its a short week but personally i think the opposite as far as rest time, sometimes you rest too long it throws your timing off. all this talk about osu isnt that good let me ask a simple question who would you pick in a game between georgia and osu? and another question whos defense do you think is better boise st or osu?

Honestly, if have Kellen Moore, you have a 'W' and by at least 10-14pts. Georgia's def was ranked high pre-season and he just cut them up.. Moore has a fucking huge TE in Efaw at 6'4" 240lbs who is quick and nimble for a big guy.. My money would be on the Broncos.

No way man. Sorry to say, but you cannot compare Boise St. to Ohio States performance last week. The Broncos are a top tier team. Toledo is good, but they have no shot to win here. The topic at hand should be is it worth it to take the 20 points, or will Boise St. roll through Toledo harder than a Lake Eire snow storm?

Sorry guys no way Toledo is a play here. Everyone is still all excited about last weeks +18 line against OSU. Such a misleading final score against a top name program but not a top name current team. Anyone who has followed Ohio college teams like I have for the past 20 years, knows that putting the name aside, that OSU team that took the field was really no better than Toledo. So much inexperience from the staff on down to the players that took the field. That made the +18 a huge mistake. Toledo didn't do anything special. Ohio State ALMOST beat themselves thats all.
I hardly expect this Boise team led by Kellen Moore to do the same. Fade the rockets.

yes they do have a shot to win here, the match up in this game is a edge for toledo. who has more to play for here boise st or toledo?
OK .... ITS THE LAST TIME I POST IN UR THREAD.....AS I ALREADY SAW U ARE A TOLEDO COCK SUCKER ......
and im not a Boise st lover ...im a gambler and thats it ..... actually ...Boise st has more to lose than toledo why....the pollsters....Boise is Ranked #4 right now after beating a sub par Georgia at Georgia ...and beleive me this sub par GA is far better than toledo and they try to gave boise all they could handle.....and the Georgia Dome is way a Bigger stage than Toledos home field ......so .... u may ask then why would boise care to run up the score.....answer: STYLE PTS ..... Boise is a school that always needs to Blow Out, squiish, smash and obliterate the opposition in order for them to keep up climbing the ranks .... so ....imagine how many pts will that give em if....Toledo Barely knock down Ohio ST in the horse shoe ....and then they go to Toledo and Gang Bang them ...that is a great opportunity for them.....and can Toledo stay within the number NO THEY CANT ..... as some one stated above ...Toledo gave its one zillliooonn percent against Ohio State .... thats the game they prepared for on summer and that game was their superbowl ....they had the opportunity to knock down big brother a very very sub par Ohio State ..thats way inferior than last year...and if u saw the game ....it wasnt that toledo was close to win it...Ohio was close to lose it as they pissed on themselves the whole time .....but yet again ...they come out with the victory.......so
NO HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE--------LIKE BOISE CARED TOLEDO EMOTIONALLY, MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY ....WORN OUT BOISE D AND O WAY FAR MORE SUPERIOR THAN OHIO A HEISMAN CANDIDATE QB BOISE IS STILL THE BOISE OF OLD 2 WEEK PREPARATION AND REST BOISE ALWAYS LOOK TO RUN UP THE SCORE
ANY WAY GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BET AS I HAVE BOISE -17 THATS HOW IT WAS SUNDAY NIGHT AND I PREDICTED THIS WILL GO UP 21-24+ BY GAME TIME ....SO WE BOTH MIGHT WIN IF BOISE WINS BY 20 .... BUT ACTUALLY MY GUESS IS BY 30...BOL .....

HOW THE FUCK U DARE TO COMPARE..... Toledo is not even close to what nevada was last year with Kaepernick and Taua ...and all that great _Nevada Team that had played boise over the last years and had the last shot on them and played at perfection ......on the other hand .... i will not say Toledo is complete crap ....let me see....Toledo play-- New hampshire ...they were expected to win big....then they played at an 200% effort and give in all theyve got against OhioSt whom bye the way...if u saw the game...they were clueless and lost most of the game .... and this isnt the OHST team of last year.....so now Toledo went home mentally and physically beat up ....and worn down .... and although they play at home they will get a boise team that in its first week beat Georgia ( mid tier Georgia) in a bigger stage than teh rockets home ..... and Georgia is far more athletic and tough team than Toledo .... and add to it Boise got a full week rest and a lot time to prepare... dont even dare to compare Boise with OhioSt this Boise is a force to be reckon they have Kellen Moore that for me is with A. Luck the best QB in College right now ..and is way physical .....last year boise blow them out by 43 at home .... this year they will blow them out again may be not by 40+ but by 30+ .... remember boise must MUST blow out every lesser opponent in order for the to put up some style pts and impress that freakin machine and keep climbing in the ranks .....
I'll say it..."TOLEDO IS CRAP", but let me take it a step further...BOISE IS CRAP! C'mon people....no way Boise could hold up playin in the SEC week in and week out against FLA, LSU, BAMA, AUBURN, TN, SC, hell - VAndy - one of our worst, can whip Toledo! This is a joke! Boise is a joke, they won 1 game, and people are talking Nat'l championship contender? NO WAY!

Boise is a joke, they won 1 game, and people are talking Nat'l championship contender? NO WAY! finally someone who sees this for what it is, boise hasnt proved anything yet. and correct they wouldnt contend playing in sec or big ten, ohio st is a good team they are better than georgia was my point and toledo should have won, ohio st would have beat boise st too
this is pretty funny stuff, you all will see toledo was the play, im not saying anymore if you cant see matchups and you go by 1 good performance thats on you, probably same people that were on vt vs e car, toledo will win this or it will be very close. get off the bandwagon guys open your eyes. a typical sec defense will rush the qb, kellen moore is not a qb you want to rush, take that part out of last weeks game play calling and switch out your defense using 9 dif players fresh defense instead of the gassed defense they had in play, this is toledos chance to redeem themselves from last week beating a over ranked #4 opponent, this week is going to be a huge let down you heard it here first
