Boise by 28 this year.. instead of 40+ points last year.. So..  A little bit closer =)

Up to 20 now, this line likely gets to 24.5 or so, total blow out for the Broncos.

Toledo is a good team within their division. This Boise State team is in a higher level.

I would bet Boise State will win with authority to stay noticed.

Boise State wins in the 24 or 30 range

As for Toledo injuries...

Dan Moll didn't even play last week against Ohio St and is listed doubtful for friday night.

LB Roberts Bell is listed as questionable for friday's gm....

The only ones of significance are Okinde and Fabis. None of the other guys were expected to be contributors this season.

CollegeInjuryReport has Molls and Bell listed as definitely out for Friday night's game. I understand Covers says otherwise, but CIR is generally pretty reliable and I'm more inclined to believe their findings.

This line opened high because the books are afraid no matter how high they open Boise they will still get play on them and they want Toledo money coming in. Boise, Ohio St, and Va tech are the 3 teams in the last 10 years that have covered over 70% of the games they are in. I expect this to hit 20-21 by kickoff.

ty all for your input,  i think this will be a fast paced game toledo getting an early lead and having a shootout, the match up here is in toledos favor, i know most of you cant see it but its not going to be the blow out you are hoping for, as you waited week one to even see if boise st could still play at the level they did past couple years losing them 2 valuable wr's you only saw one game, i will tell you this boise prepares hard for 1st game every year i was in boise st and i know how hard they prepare, sometimes having a week off isnt good for a team prolongs their momentum. toledo really feels they can win this and on paper they actually look better if they can stop making costly penalties. all the public money on boise with boise covering so many games line comes out less than 2 tds really? gl too all of you toledo may win this but the 20 points look even easier to me

Boise had a week off, saw what Toledo did to Ohio State, and is not at home.

So Boise will press the first half and try and run the score up to take the crowd out of the game. 

Unless you see a back door from Toledo once the score is 40-7 then I would play Boise or the Over.

ok heres the biggest outlook for this game, its not about winning or losing one game as we all know, but whats most important here for me,
the people that actually took time to look into this thread amy be able to profit in future from this. trends arent decided off 1 game but toledo was 22 point underdog last week lost by 5, boise a 20 point favorite lets see which side the trend goes and which one we begin to make grounds on.

You can write a thousand lines and stories about this but reality is that Toledo is the preseason favorite to win the MAC title. They are not a bad team. What makes you think they will not give 300% effort against Boise in their own backyard.

Look, Toledo will NOT beat Boise state on Friday and anyone who expects that is truly smoking Jamaica's finest. Stop looking at this from a Toledo beating BSU and instead focus on whether Toledo stays within the numbers. What I do expect is for Toledo to finish the game covering the 19 (now 20) pt spread and that's how I'm betting. I'll wait till gameday Friday and hopefully catch it at +21.5 or better.

i guess you did not consider the 57-14 slaughter of toledo on the blue as a 37 point favorite or 12-4 ATS record as a road favorite.  or the fact that petersen has had 2 weeks to prepare for this game...

Toledo looked good against Ohio State, but OSU is not the OSU of old...

I say Toledo keeps it close for a half, then Boise explodes for a 42-14 final...

toledo is a school that has looked up to boise st, toledos game plan is to use 9 on defense keeping fresh guys in controlling the clock pressuring the qb which he is amazing with the timed plays i look for a huge defensive stand in this game, last year they turned the ball over 5 times in that game hence the blow out. we all know teams have a hard time playing in boise because of the crowd alone, take that edge away this year with a more mature team in toledo this has UPSET written all over it
