Favorite play of the week:
***** San Diego State -13.5 at UNLV. San Diego State is just a lot better team. Negative is I have always had a hard time getting to the pay window when I have taken them. Just one of those teams that give me problems. Lets see what happens this year.
SMU -13.5 at Houston. Houston has no chance in this game if SMU comes to play, as the offense of Houston has to run the ball to score, as the passing game suks ranking 113th in the country averaging only 170 yards a game through the air. How are they going to keep pace with SMU if they cannot throw the ball against a high powered offense like SMU has??? I think this is going to be a 20+ point win for the Mustangs of SMU.
Pittsburgh -5.5 at home verses Miami. Miami has all kinds of issues, and they cannot make field goals.
South Carolina -4 at Tennessee. Simply South Carolina is a much better team. Tennessee has shown absolutely nothing, and whatever positive energy they might have had went into last weeks game with Alabama.
Missouri -10 at Kentucky. I expect Missouri to rebound from chitting the bed last week at Vanderbilt, and come out and get a comfortable going away win in Kentucky.
Adding:
Notre Dame +1 at Michigan. I would be very surprised if the fighting Irish do not come out of Ann Arbor with a victory and at +1 it is a must to take.

Texas -1 at TCU. My 2nd favorite play of the week. I do not see TCU outscoring the Longhorns, and I do not see the defensive secondary of TCU containing the passing game of Texas.

They got me as well last week, and I was relunctant to take them this week, but my due diligence suggested it was one of the better choices on the board this week.
Thanks Lionmonster as your greetings are very appreciated!

When Florida schools play each other all the players get pumped up. Most of them whether its FAU, FIU, USF. Florida State, etc. the kids all grew up playing together in the state and know each other. So coaching motivation isn't needed for those games.
However now Miami going into Pitt not only is motivation a factor it's coming up with a game plan. As we have seen this year one thing Miami is clearly lacking this year is a head coach who has a clue what a game plan means. Manny Diaz might of had an idea how to get his defenses to play as a coordinator but as a head coach he looks way over his head.
Pitt at home is always tough and are quietly a very good team this year. Love Pitt at home here laying the 5.5. Especially the fact that Miami can't even kick fgs past 20 yards this year.
Love the play here Urban. It was the first play I made when the line came out.

Very much appreciated you taking the time to reply, your insights and opinion. Soooooo looking forward to meeting you at the pay window and getting the celebration party started! I think we are the only actual posters on the forum who are on the this play.

Adding: Texas Tech -4 at Kansas Texas Tech QB Jett Duffy has really played well the past two games completing 75 percent of his passes. Does not sit well for the Jayhawks who are allowing 53 percent of its opponents to convert on 3rd down. Yes Kansas put up big numbers on offensive last week at Texas, but the Red Raiders will offer a much stiffer defense than the no defense Texas Longhorns. I fully expect the Red Raiders would put up a similar score to what the Longhorns did last week on Kansas.

Hey bud, did you dig into Eastern Michigan vs Toledo at all? Eastern Michigan has had a pretty decent year so far and it seems Toledo is a dumpster fire at the moment. Thanks bud!!

I actually did, and have no lean whatsoever on it, as I can find equal reasons to support both teams, but not enough reasons, or one reason specifically to support either one.

***** Wyoming -14 at home against Nevada. I have no idea on how Nevada can contain the running game of the Cowboys especially its QB Chambers. I have the Cowboys winning this game on a blowout.

Just a little note on Iowa State I uncovered that might be helpful for some considering the Oklahoma State at Iowa State game. Iowa State is 29-1 when being a double digit favorite. You read that correctly.

Not even in the slightest. UNLV gives up 36 points per game, they give up 216 yards a game on the ground, and have no chance in hell in slowing the Aztec rushing game down. On the other hand San Diego State has only gave up 10, 22, and 17 points in there last 3 games to much stronger teams that UNLV.

It is my belief that this is going to be a 24 -10 type of game. Kentucky has very little offense, and being a conference game, and with a loss last week to a team they should have beat, I think the Tigers from Missouri are going into Kentucky and coming out with a win and cover the spread.

I like MIssouri here but I want to wait another day to see if we can get a clearer injury report. There are several Wildcats that could be sidelined, including senior LB Kash Daniel, and if so it's a very easy call. UK is a slightly better team with Sawyer Smith at QB.
Always a good read Urban! Sweep your board this week!
