NCAAF YTD - 11-7-0
On the surface, this game looks pretty cut and dry with a significant advantage going to the Utes particularly with their run D. After taking a deeper dive into this match-up here's what I see;
How does a team "get right" mentally and physically?
PLAY UTEP.......thats how.............yes, yes UTEP is terrible however Dawkins and the entire AZ team needed that scrimmage last week to work out a few things on the field and re-gain the flow and confidence in what they are capable of. This is important because it brings the Wildcats into tonight's matchup with the right mindset to run their offense with efficiency and accuracy against a really good Defense.
They have been reminded all week how tough the Utes run D is and using that motivation I believe they will rise to the challenge and have some success tonight with their zone read option.
This should be a pretty close game the entire way and the AZ home stadium should be electric tonight!
