Arizona State has shown they have plenty of offensive explosion, but their defense just isn't good.
UTSA
is a run first offense, which means they'll slow the pace down here and
keep that ASU offense off the field. With how many gaps there are in
the ASU defense this season, the roadrunners should find plenty of gaps
in the line and be able to get a push up front.
The longer UTSA
can hang around in the first half, the more pressure that gets put on
the Sun Devils. After a big win last week, this could be a solid let
down spot for them, on the road against a weaker opponent.
Some
trends to note. Sun Devils are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Friday games. Sun
Devils are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games after accumulating more than
450 total yards in their previous game.
Look for the Roadrunners
to keep this one close throughout, as they will control the tempo of
this game with their rushing attack.
Back UTSA ATS.

Using trends exclusively for your handicapping is a recipe for disaster! AZ ST wins in a blowout. UTSA dont have the horses to come close to keeping up on offense!

What meatw said. Not in a position to comment on UTSA, but do not make any judgments based on what ASU offense did to Tech. Techs def is undersized, undermanned, and can't tackle

ASU is more susceptible to the big play through the air. They run all out blitzes a lot. Teams that get rid of the ball quick, IE Mahomes, have the ability to put up big plays. I'd be shocked if UTSA has the athletes to keep up with the amount of pressure that's about I be coming from the front 7.
