They scored at will because thy didnt play against any real or elite defenses. WTF dont you understand??? Your not scoring at "WILL" against Michigan ansd that ELITE #! Ranked defense....

@magicmike45
i absolutely love jj mcarthy over 190.5 passing yards. i dont see it staying under 200. even if they have success running the ball. or unless washington has a great defense that day and michigan cant move the ball. i looked up all the teams washington played. 85% of the teams they played had over 200 yards passing

I really find it fascinating that people are gonna talk about that 4 game stretch against weak opponents that michigan averaged 32 points.
educate yourself first and see how long JJ and starters actually played? Wake up!
if you honestly think Washington defense is going to stop Michigan your just really a hater and not a handicapper.
I am not saying Washington isn’t legit bc I saw Penix when he was at Indiana and he was great then and yes he torched michigan!
I am scared of Washington as they are fantastic! But if you wanna use stats from 4 games when JJ and starting offense sat out 4th quarter and in some cases even longer feel free! Also remind yourself who is coaching michigan! A man who never is worried about the blowout point total yard producing offenses but rather physical play in all facets of the game! JJ has talent and so does this offense and if you wanna be morons be morons!
I am just excited for a great matchup! Enjoy!

I’d be more inclined to look at these two QB completion percentage! Both really really good! Both extremely efficient!
who has better running backs? Who has better tight ends? Who can control the line of scrimmage when it counts? Who played two teams in Ohio state Alabama and let’s count a third in Penn state with high level ranked players all over the field and won! Who played teams and dictates wheat they want even when things go wrong?

Wolverines have 17 draftable players! Hmmm
minnesota coach said early in season it’s the best team he has seen since being in football!
Washington lovers be aware your walking into a buzz saw

There's one thing Joel Klatt doesn't bring up and most likely doesn't know Sqkuatt about because hes not even close to a handicapper and the one dynamic in this matchup
Washington is +8 in AOPR in their last 3-4 road games and favored by 0.2 over Michigan mathematically overall on the season. If you Michigan backers don't know what that is..you will find out Monday because the +4.5 points will come into play weather Michigan wins the game or not...mark it down

@Wizerguy
Please explain?
Also are you not at all worried about the depth and experience of and PFF rankings of Michigan players as a whole in this game?
do you think talent wins in the end?
I personally as a big ten guy always see us lose to more talented composite teams every freaking year and this year Michigan really has a lot of dudes compared to Washington.
This seems more and more like the team that gets a turnovers or two wins.

Neither Penn St, Ohio St or Alabama scored more ppg than Washington, or Oregon (who Wash beat twice) or USC or Arizona or Texas. Who Washington beat.
Texas scored the same as Michigan this year. They scored a boatload in their conf final. They scored 45 per game in their last 3 despite Washington holding them to 31 - less than their average of 36 on the year.
I'm still glad you posted because when I see a total blowhard posting stuff that they think makes a great case for their side and it actually doesn't even make any sense then I know we're in Jimmy Gape/buffer territory and it's a good fade.
I was thinking of passing on the game because I leaned to Michigan but been wrong any time I faded the Huskies now I might just play on them.

Not sure Michigan has faced a passing offense like this all season, so stats only tell based on the teams they face. Washington has a vertical passing offense they will regularly take shots down the field and I dont see a team on their schedule all season who is remotely as aggressive passing as Washington is.

they just showed on big 10 network talking about game that washington allows 3rd down conversions 40% of the time. that cant be good for anyone that likes washington

Oklahoma State is basically a JUCO team. They were about 2/3rds the size of Texas.

Washington allows a lot of 3rd Dn Conversions , and a lot of yards
to opposing Offenses. What's important is that they do not allow
more points than they can score themself. They've proved that in
over consecutive 20 games so far.

UW defense is/was a big issue.... it had seemingly underperformed its talent level in 2021, 2022 and early in 2023.
It has improved very significantly as season has gone on... but we shall see
to the other poster, how is beating Alabama (very sloppy game, and UM was "on life support" late), Ohio State and PSU (even you said "even PSU") better than beating Oregon twice and Texas...
you look at power ratings but even "recent games rating", washington ranks way behind teams it has beaten 3 times (2 times recently).... i think the basic ratings link way too much to starting ratings and game margins... recent games would just use recent scores. the ratings it would use for opposition would link strongly to entire year. not enough data to use "recent games only" for all the calculation
UW is 10-0 SU vs. ranked teams the last 2 seasons.. their problem was mediocre competition PAC-12 games in 2023... talk is Penix was sick and injured. it seems correct but who knows. the disappointing games were consecutive. and it was very very wet in their one disappointing O game vs ranked.

but UM has mostly stopped the worst P5 offenses in the country... UM hasn't scored at an impressive rate against any good teams
you averaged 32 points vs. BG, UNLV, EC and Rutgers. that is not high powered
exactly the same argument as yours against UW.
UW scored tons and tons of points vs. Oregon twice and Texas.. they are considered top 7 defenses.

Penix at Indiana beat UM/Harbaugh/"Cheaters" 38-21
Penix scored 38 points vs. Michigan...... 3 years ago.. not 15 years ago........ playing for Indiana FFS.
now, he has the best WR unit and arguably the best OLINE unit in the country.. the OL just won the top award for "best OL"
Penix scored 38 points vs. Aiden Hutchinson
please refute

55-17 UM?!?!
for a team that ran the ball EVERY SINGLE PLAY IN THE 2ND HALF in a recent game.
i respect opinions that UM will cover or cover easily but come on, 55 points?
