I ask, because it's pretty clear that there is nothing deceiving about this line.  You're essentially betting on a very good team to continue it's unbeaten season, or another very good team who is (undefeated) at home to keep it competitive enough to possibly pull out the win.  Is that much of a stretch?

To the casual Joe who picks up the newspaper and sees the ESPN matchup tonight, sure it may seem like a layup at first, but as you've even indicated, Toledo is more than capable of pulling off the upset.

Unless you don't think that, and you're simply betting on the Rockets because you think the line is telling you exactly what to bet.  In that case, wouldn't the secret get out that the "lock" is siding with the sportsbook because they've already told you who is going to win?

Sorry for the rant, but I'm baffled that people actually use this thought process rather than handicapping the game and seeing very clearly that this is a competitive matchup regardless of win-loss records or national rankings.

Good luck.  I'm assuming after this game that you'll either be back to chest thump, or will disappear until you spot another game in which your bookie is pointing you to his "no brainer, easy winner of the week."
