I really like So Miss, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet because of the inexperience at OL. With only one returning starter, do you think they will protect Davis long enough to get the ball into the hands of his playmakers? I love their Defense, they should definitely keep them in the game, I just need some reassurance in the OLine.......can you sell me on it?
I'd like to think that Fedora, in his 3rd year, will have plenty of talent from his own recruits to offset any drop-off up front.
I can't stand So Carolina and Spurrier, so it the Golden Eagles or nothing in this game for me.
Thanks for your insight JD!
Im leaning to S.C... This is Spuriers best team yet I see 8 to 10 wins

S. Miss has the best d-line in CUSA and a Top 25 D-line in the country,
they also return their entire "2 deep" at linebackers, all 6 linebackers that saw significant time last year are back,
they also have great special teams (my rankings show about #18 in D-1A)
as far as the O-line is concerned, So. carolina has to replace thier top two D linemen in Nathan Peppers and Clifton Geathers. S. Carolina is going to have just as many fresh faces on the D-line as S. Miss on the O line. S. Miss has a very experience center, in Cameron Zipp(26 starts) and 3 others have seen time...
either way, i look for austin young and DeAndre Brown to hook up for at least a 100yrd day for brown and a score, and would expect at LEAST one more score if not two...south carolina's point totals last year over the last 6 games of last year were: 6 @bama 14 vs Vandy 13 @ Tenn 16@Ark 14 vs FLA 34 vs. Clemson
they just really struggle to score. i know there might be a talent desparity between the conferences, but i just see this as a really really close ball game, with both teams having a chance to win in the 4th Q.
