Week 1 NCAA Football

Here are some early lines I like....

Not locked in yet. I never make any bets until August.



TCU   +6.5

Clemson  -1.5

Alabama -20

Indiana  -13.5

Nevada   +15.5

Purdue  +14


Totals are not out of course, but even tho we are close..... we still have a long time until kickoff.

Hoosiers good enough to smoke Clemson on a neutral field this year.

UGA/Clem total gonna be high 60s/70ish? Gotta think both qbs will be able to move the ball very well (even if both defenses are decent). U know Richt is gonna have these boys unprepared....

Bama is gonna be a play, but will wait to see what the 1st h and VT team total is. I got this pegged as a 40 something to 13ish game....

Not sold on TCU. I dont know if I can even bet that game to open the season....too many unknowns....

Indiana and Purdue intrigue me (Purdue is a must in one of my special ML parlays as it should be +500 or better)....

I'm leaning tcu right now, but one concern is tcu's o-line will be breaking in a few new starters. Hate to say it but clemson almost seems too obvious, doesnt it almost seem too easy? Need to take a look at those other games. Take a look at wash. Revenge, new stadium, and more experience coming back than boise...

Here me out now..... I m predicting the Clemson vs Georgia Total to be somewhere between 55 - 58....


It wont be as high as many think. Trust me on this one

I actually think it will go under to the tune of

Clemson 31 Georgia 20


TCU, I like alot.... ML?? Love the QB and Patterson of course. I think Patterson will coach circles around Les.

Like Indiana and Purdue both too...

Clemson too easy??? No man, This Georgia team is very good. Nothing is easy in college football my man...

I dont think even with Clemson improved D that they can hold UGA to 20 or less....

Andre will be tough to replace at RB. He was a game changer at his position.

Boom, all i'm saying is clemson brings back a ton from last year, is coming off win over lsu, they are home and only giving 1 to 2 points to uga who is replacing most their D, the number seems low to me.

Clemson is really good and really deep at the running back position. The best I have seen in many years. Andre was great.... but he wont be missed as much as you think.

I think that is more of the respect for the SEC. Whether it be right or not.... Vegas IMO, sets these lines according to what action they can get. Joe public loves to bet a Underdog SEC team.... But hey, it is what it is.

Whats your feeling on the Clemson line movement?  Could Clemson be dogs by kickoff with the public always on SEC teams?

Oh, I'm not arguing with ya. My initial thought was both of these teams should be good for 28+ and an OT thriller wouldnt surprise me....

You know, you never can tell with these things.... I personally think Clemson will be around -3 by kickoff
