Still waiting for a big week. Might be waiting awhile at this rate....an_roll_laugh

 

Only 1 locked in thus far....

 

Iowa St -2

 

Kansas has played 3 road games....struggled but beat Nevada by 7, got smoked by Texas and lost to Oklahoma St....Now gotta hit the road after a field storming win over Oklahoma.....

Iowa St began the season a week or so after it lost its starting QB and RB in a gambling scandal. Not surprisingly they lost to Iowa and Ohio in the 1st 3 weeks of the season....Their defense has been strong, and have only allowed over 18 points 2 times this season (Oklahoma and Ok St)....

I see the Kansas offense struggling much like it did vs Texas, regardless if its Bean or Daniel's at QB for the Jayhawks. Evening game makes it even better......Give me Becht all day here. Been improving weekly as has the offense.

Dunno. Im sure he's around. Probably just mid season lull. A rough week will make capping less appealing. Mix that with some cooler weather and other life happenings and it becomes a chore to post routinely. I've quit cold turkey for a year + before.....thats why there are so few "old timers" here...not necessarily age, just posting longevity....peace_5

Why? So by my season averages they would have a less than a 50% chance to win as home favorites?

Agree with ISU pick and already played it.

How about Arkansas @ FL? Lots of mystery with Hogs firing OC and then having a bye. Lifetime Hogs fan, but it's hard for me to imagine taking them at less the 10, so I like the Gators a lot. That always scares me.....

 Certainly agree with your comments, I think the Texas/Houston game might have rocked him a little, all his angles were 100%, yet they allow Houston to put points on them, then Houston cop a flogging from K St, their true form, that's why we keep being fascinating by the game.

Hopefully he has another Iowa St in the tool bag, we can drill into..... peace_5

TEXAS RANGERS are a focus I bet.....when the Jays won back to back up here in Toronto, the whole region stopped everything the month or so they went through it

 

Also, I am not a fan of the scheduling this year and rivalries....seems like there is only 1-2 good games to watch instead of 5-6 each week, that's just my impression

I never look at the public stuff, but regardless, tough game. I lean MIzzou, but not enthusiastic about it. They haven't won a road game they weren't supposed to win in a very long time.....maybe once since Drinkwitz took over.....I dont see them having success running the ball as Schrader & Peat aren't high caliber SEC backs. So, can Cook have a good game? Possibly.....but this is the best defense he's seen. Got a feeling Burden won't be running downfield wide open.....and if Cook tries to force balls his way its gonna be trouble. Mizzou D aint as strong as last couple season.....but UGAs offense is at least a tiny bit regressed from last couple years. Miz is the only team that "shoulda" beat UGA last season, so I expect them to play well from the jump......maybe a small play on Miz, but just can't predict them looking a ton better than Kentucky or Florida did the past couple weeks.peace_5

Such a tough game. Hard to bet on Florida right now.....but can't really see myself backing a Razorback squad who is pretty aimless.....they might come out with nothing to lose. Sorry I'm not more help.
