I wasn't watching it, knew it would happen, it's comical to be honest but I'm okay with it, what I do know is if Clemson were to lose to Ole Miss at home they'd never see the playoff or be close, it helps any SEC team that all their teams are overrated to start the season, that way you get credit for beating "top 10" teams like UGA and A&M (who are both not close to top 10 caliber, give me a break)
the entire conference basically starts the year in the top 25 and then we hear about strength of schedule all year, the whole process is a joke and neither LSU or Alabama will win the national championship, that is one thing you can say you heard here first, neither of them, remember I said it
I agree that the SEC is overrated. But isn't this a good thing? It means lots of value opportunities since SEC teams are overrated.

I think I am the only LSU fan who just doesn't see why LSU is ranked so high- They are solid but not outstanding. I am happy but I am rather pessimistic about the team this year. They do keep proving me wrong so we will see- lots of football left and I can see a scenario where there are no undefeated teams and 6-8 good one loss teams screaming to get into the playoffs-
Oh, rest assured, you're not the only one. Having trouble getting visions of the EMU first half out of my head. Or vast chunks of the Syracuse game. Were lucky to catch WKU in a downpour, Auburn when they suck, USC-Light in a crazy, post-hurricane spot (when they also sucked), and McNeese in a game that never happened. Looked pretty good against UF and MSU, but I'm not expecting Saturday to be close.

my initial lean was KState when the lines opened thinking this freshman QB making his first start ever in that environment against possibly the greatest college coach of all time would be really bad for Baylor but after talking to someone this morning I'm confident he will be just fine tonight, I probably shouldn't have bet it at all but I'm a bit of a homer here, just think this year's version of Baylor is the best I've seen and don't know how KSt can put up more than 24 on them, if they hold that offense to below 40 then I'll happily bow to Snyder to pay the book

will also say that the committee voting them 6 will get their attention, not saying they should be top 3 or anything since their schedule has been weak but the eye test will prove that they are at worst a top 4 caliber team, same with TCU as they get some of their defense healthy, both of these big12 teams would beat LSU or Bama, hopefully one of them can squeak into the playoff so I can put my money behind that
go Bears and go Frogs, one them will win it all if they get the bid

Solid card do you think the hook is completely necessary for W Mich?
probably not necessary, I had a chance to bet it on Sunday at 13.5 and didn't do it so if I bet it at higher today then I'll be pissed about that all day, my mind is fukked up bro, I'm a different cat when it comes to betting, I need to feel like I have the best line available or I'm a mental midget, I liked BG last night but wasn't going to "chase" a line, that also opened at 13.5 and I passed on it Sunday, cost me a free win but I'd rather that than the feeling of chasing a line, I'm strange bro, what can I say

No I get it-- you equate it to overpaying for something that you could have just bought for a cheaper price.

I really like WM, thank goodness you on it. Haha... Is this your full card Wahoo? Thanks a lot
not even close to full, I like to strike while the iron is hot and it's been hoooooottttttttttt
I can't give a recommendation on the Baylor bet as laying road points on a Thursday night is about as risky as not wearing a hat when you are knowingly banging a chick with herpes true risk involved
I do like WMU though and would recommend that one as a normal wager, hopefully they play well for us

With you on Baylor. Way to much offense for KS to handle. By the 4th quarter it will be like shooting fish in a barrel.
Enjoy the game.
I hope you are correct Kursh, I'm certainly nervous about this one because of the coach we are facing and the fact that is an 18yr old kid making his first career start in a very hostile environment, there is alot of pressure on him tonight, I'd rather go down with Baylor than anyone else though, that is the one team that could be tied heading to the 4th and still win by 21

Baylor has played the worst schedule on the planet. They are lucky the committee respected them from last year. Getting 6 is an absolute blessing. They have beat Rice, Lamar, SMU, Kansas, Iowa St. Those don't even count. The other 2 are TTU and WVU. Both those games in Waco. They might win it all, but they have done absolutely nothing beating 5 dogsh1t teams and 2 mediocre teams at home. So being #6 they should be jumping for joy.

good points, except the Tech game was in Dallas
I don't really use my thread for arguments sake, was stating some reasons I bet them tonight and I can assure you those kids on that team aren't jumping for joy at #6
good luck this week

Hahahahaahaaa.... Yeah that's pretty dang risky bro... I'm not playing a side in that one, I'm playing the 1st half under.. I think if Kst has a shot, they need to slow this thing down.. Plus the new QB might have a tough time in the beginning? Just a hunch... Are you playing App St as a normal wager? Or is it large? Thanks again !

I prefer it teased below at TD than 12, I only bet it because the line dipped to 10 this morning at many of my sites, I wasn't interested in it at 12.5 when it opened, Ark St isn't a pushover so App needs to perform well
tease it with something else to below TD, just a standard play, nothing big

I'm honestly so back and forth with this game and only because my great deal of respect for Snyder, he's a true legend
the players on the field aren't even close to a matchup, Baylor is so loaded across the board it's retarded, the skill position players are way beyond anything KSU can trot out there
Bill is smart though and will try to grind clock and hold the ball, wouldn't shock me if he threw strange coverages at the new QB either
I honestly don't know what to expect but I'm going into a fight with what I think is a vastly superior team, that's all I do know, if Russell were in there I'd lay 20 without blinking so hopefully the freshman isn't too much of a dropoff
is this were the same KSTate team that played TCU healthwise then I'd play KState 10/10 times at + 17 or higher, especially off a bye where Bill is basically 145% ATS in his career
this game has alot of unknown to it, for anyone to think they have a great angle is almost funny to me
you either bet the Baylor offense with first time starting freshman QB or the legend Bill and see what happens
nothing I've posted yet is Large, I will put that next to the play when I post that, the one I know I'm betting is an underdog so the line should get better, no rush for me and I want everyone to have the same crack at it if they so choose
