Thoughts on Michigan State -3 @ Maryland. Michigan State has a strong defense and Maryland can only run the ball. With Lombardi throwing now Michigan State can put up points. Offense was their only problem this year, the most pts they gave up all year was 21 to Michigan. Plus confidence should be high on Offense and Defense after Purdue win
I was thinking the same thing with MSU.
The other game I like is Purdue over Iowa.

I wouldn't necessarily call Texas a fraud. They certainly overachieved with their win over Oklahoma but this team is pretty good. I tweeted about this yesterday but in Saurday's game against the Pokes, Texas' starting CB's (Kris Boyd and Davante Davis) were out the 1st and the start of the 2nd quarter, OKST had 309 yards total offense and scored 24 points. Once Boyd and Davis came in, Texas held OKST to 193 yards total offense and 14 points the final 40 minutes. Texas is a Top 15 team and it really wouldn't suprise me if they find a way to finish Top 10.

Agree on top 15 potential
the fraud was being anywhere near top 5, that’s what I’m referring to
that team beat a miserable Tulsa team by 7, the worst KState team in forever by like 5 off top of my head, they happen to catch an OU team in a huge rivalry game that had turnovers
they have lost to Maryland two years in a row, they had two weeks to prepare for a below avg Okie St team that was blown out at home by both Texas Tech & Iowa St, okie st sat on lead
I love UT & hope they get better but the fraud was that team being anywhere near the top 5
I’m a fan but I call a spade a spade , that team isn’t close

I love coach D, he’s one of my favorites
I suppose to like Mich St here you have to expect their defense to shut down Maryland , after all, you’ll be laying road points with an offense that can’t score, they did look better with Lombardi in there but they benefited from some horrific officiating & caught Purdue in worst spot possible after blowing out Ohio St
I agree with your lean IF Lombardi starts but I wouldn’t get over excited with that offense just yet
Best of luck

Texas Tech at home getting 10.5 is an auto bet for me, I am not convinced OU D is any good. Lubbock at home night game has made me a few shekels throughout the years. Will throw in ML too, I also think this is the week that Miami beats Duke by at least 20, they hated the cold at BC and I had the ML. Duke is so banged up it’s not funny., Pitt had like 500 yards rushing against them. Everybody likes Iowa, why? Don’t get it, Texas? Same question.

PSU ran it up on Michigan last year, and with 4 seconds left instead of running the clock out, attempted s pass to the endzone. Already up 42-13. Off a bye, I fully expect Michigan to lay the hammer down on Franklin with zero remorse. You agree?

Bama-14 is a max bet for me. Tua is gonna donkey dik that LSU defense. The only team in CFB that can give Bama a game is Clemson. Because they have a DL that Bama will have trouble blocking and the type of QB that gives Saban def fits.
LSU has neither. They have good cover guys and a good DC. Saban will pound the rock down their throat and then unleash Tua on em for 3.5 Qs.. 41-13 Bama.

Gotcha. I tend to give 1st year coaches a lot of slack since they really aren't running their systems at full go until at least midway into the season which Texas showed last year which is why the loss last year to Maryland week one isn't as big of a deal as people want to remember it as, Texas was coming off of a 5-7 season not a team that should of been a double digit favorite over any P5 school. They also had even bigger OL problems last season as well as Ehlinger dealt with injuries that forced him to miss time after he took over the starting job. So with all of that, they finished 7-6 with 4 losses by less than a TD, 2 of which in OT, this team isn't back yet but they are ahead of schedule.
In 2019 when OU will be breaking in a new QB who likely won't be as dynamic as Baker and Kyler have been. WVU who will be without Grier, Sills, and Jennings. Pokes will be needing a new QB and could also lose RB Justice Hill to the NFL early. Texas will likely be preseason favorite to win the Big 12.

Several things on this game
Trace got beaten up badly vs Iowa, took major hits to the dome
Franklin is just the type of slimeball that would want the built in excuse of “not having our Qb”, don’t be stunned if he sits after that nasty mich d launches a few helmets into him
Penn St is very easy to gameplan for & obviously coming off a very physical emotional game vs Iowa
Michigan has dominated teams at home & this kind of sets up for a beating
I’m not saying I’ll back Michigan but I could, I wouldn’t bet Penn St regardless

If we get Michigan vs Alabama in the title game I’ll make my biggest bet possibly ever provided Tua is healthy
I don’t watch shows with guys like Skip but would you expect him to know what us gamblers know? He’s trying to draw attention & sell something, get people talking, I’m only concerned with making money, not picking favorite teams
I quite honestly would prefer Michigan to beat Bama simply because it’s better for college football, however, they would have less than a 5% chance
If that offense scored 20 on Bama it would be a major accomplishment & if they held Bama to 42 it would be a major accomplishment
I have eyes & my eyes tell my brain Alabama with a healthy Tua would completely embarrass Michigan in every phase, it would be over before it started
Clemson will also kill them, just wait until the playoffs, only a short while
Michigan should get there if they win out, 401k time

Great post here, agree
Texas should be the favorites in the Big12 next year , the conference will be down once again & Tom will have more of his players

Mr. Wahoo, would appreciate your thoughts on Oklahoma and TT. Does Oklahoma defense gets exposed again? Or do they continue to roll with new D coordinator? Thank you sir!!!
